i bet it will just a matter of time, since the technology is already there, just the timing it could be quite slow.

fitting such a big technology into small iem... if we can have T1 sound in Iem... I couldn't imagine that... maybe something like IE800.

Congratulation bro, I believe in time their German technology is able to fit a Tesla driver inside, revolutionizing the portable audio industry again. thumbup.gif

Yea, they are just lacking on decent IEM range, they are good in headphone, but earphone will require some extra speed to catch up with Sennheiser or ATH.

Better for Beyer to improve QC standards first before venturing into new R&D. Seeing how their dt1350, xp1/2/3 had it's own defects and durability.

agreed, more faith on the headphone line up, since i used COP, DT440, DT770 and none has met with any issues, might reconsider picking up yet another Beyer ( again doh.gif)

The older and classic models are still somewhat ok. Heard and seen many T1's driver failing on one or both side from a few friends, not only those in Malaysia but in EU and US as well, so its nothing new.

Letting go a new in box DT231 and a 1 month old XP2, both with warranty from Jaben if anyone is interested. My XP1 finally died of cable issue at the jack after 2+ years sad.gif .

Haha I got the XP2... then didn't like the sound, lack of bass maybe. So now upgraded to the blue SE215 brows.gif
