Will give an impression of T1 pairing with burson soloist (amp) and DACmini (dac only) soon. Early impression seems promising but will give more burn in hours first before making a comparison.

Technically no, they are using the same drivers.

Which one you will tend to like? They both sounded so differently.

For most genre, the burson does a beautiful job especially in fast pace music especially Jazz & Rock.

However the centrance dacmini (dac/amp) does a better job when it comes to female vocals as the burson can sound very harsh (not pleasant)

Accidentally poked a hole in my DT880 while cleaning her up for new pads.

I guess she's done for.

Driver diaphragm?

I think it's the dampening that is attached to the main driver, definitely not the main driver diaphragm.

The faulty side now have sliiiightly less bass body, not really noticeable unless you're doing some real serious critical listening. Nothing to worry about I guess.
