tutorial, follow the tutorial to flash ur phone back to 2.3.7
u can download the malaysia 1 created by me or others provided by them, it has no difference
u must click wipe data option, or some app might (maybe only lar) not be working properly, or u move ur app to internal SD, bcauz things in internal SD will not be deleted
after finished copy, disconnect n start phone

Starting tomorrow... my XPS going back to the box. Will be migrating to Nexus for JB. Pretty sad when Sony troll their customers with crappy updates and lousy customer service.

i tried sony update first,den phone build in one,and then pc companion. all not available....

Bcz i was using arc s and i had already used to the ICS interface.

Since I made the mistake of flashing back to GB from this FTF, I thought I might as well upgrade to official Malaysia  ICS and make a real MY-6917 FTF. Now I dunno where to share back to xda. Rapidshare? Suggestions?

Then after I finished, I thought I might as well try that on-screen button mod from xda. I unlocked my bootloader though, but the result is good. No more silly dots. Lost some screen area but I don't mind. I like it better now.

Took only 3 steps from locked bootloader ICS.
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Fastboot flash this slightly modded stock kernel (mostly for the CWM recovery), Kernel link
3. Flashed the zipped package of the on-screen button mod, Mod link

i had 1st prob with ics
i was watching youtube suddenly screen fade to black color but got sound.. but screen is black cant press anything..
afta 1 min got some weird sound then it restart the phone.

btw how to improve vibration when press?
compared to xperia u .. vibration on xpu is much better n screen on xpu feels brighter.. maybe bcause i use clear on xpu n matte on xps

can someone here share your internet apn settings for maxis

im iphone user previously, it changes the settings automatically so no prob.
then i move to htc one x for 3 days and it detect and change settings for me also

but xperia s .it doesnt change..have to do it manually i guess
and i have tried it the apn settings but my internet 3g is slow and i only get E which is edge ??

also,the power saver widgets ?
should we use or ignore ?
i notice it change my brigthness to more bright if i use it

Speed is a bit slower than 3g.
But , i also hardly get 3g n hdspa on my htc one x .. Android normal like that?
