I just updated the new firmware, did not do a factory reset though, notice the faster quick launch.

I faced the same problem before and it was U Mobile setting problem. Remove the Proxy IP and voila, Play Store works over 3G again. Seems like Maxis is having this flawed setting problem too.

This is an old issue. I moved some apps to internal memory from phone memory and I got this problem. My solution was move the affected apps to where it was originally installed on and it solved this problem.

This will erase all the id tag of the song, including album art. Then you just re-edit them back.

Google for "ID Tag Remover" and you'll get it.

You could try to use a usb hub and see the magic.

I've been using Nillkin matte case since April, every in/out my pants pocket couple dozens of time, no scratch or whatever.

Nillkin matte case is very well designed, the fitting is good and won't scratch your precious phone. The only problem is you'll feel like the camera button operation is hindered at first but after you get use to it then it'll be fine.

Same offer price as the shitty Galaxy W... even the S2 are offered at higher price.

Me too. I thought my eyes were bad because I just recently upgrade my home pc to windows 8. So I install a fresh copy of PCC, as soon as I finished the installation the update notification pop up so I straight away update... and after update the firmware is still .45

I've been using stock email client to sync my hotmail using pop3 server. It has been working fine until yesterday morning. It suddenly gave connection error and said my username and password are incorrect!? I can login my hotmail on without a problem, even I download the Outlook.com app and it works.
So what's the problem?
Is it Micro$oft blocking Googl€ service?
Is it Googl€ blocking Micro$oft service?
Is it $ony problem?
Is it Xp€ria S problem?

Just to share, I recently upgraded my home pc to Windows 8 Pro, and the Windows Store will NEVER work when I was on Google DNS; when I change my DNS to Streamyx default, the Windows Store works flawlessly...

Jelly Bean update has been planned for Xperia S, should be out in April. Now it's on ICS 4.0.4 since June 2012, with a 100% working leaked Official Jelly Bean Home Launcher by Sony (this gives access to certain new features like 7 home screens, different scrolling animation, can create folder in apps drawer, an updated dock, etc.). At RM1000 this is the best phone you can get, to me the camera produce a more natural colour photo, however the noise level at low light is quite high.

I'm a light user, light facebook and web surfing, with email sync at 1 hour interval, casual music listening/video watching, casual gaming etc. The battery will last 1.5 day before I need to charge (>30%).

My PCC is working fine with Windows 8, in fact now it runs even faster then it used to on Windows 7. Have you tried reinstall pcc or use the update tool from Sony Mobile website?

For those who use PSM (PlayStation Mobile), where does the downloaded games stored? Phone Memory or Internal Memory? If in Phone Memory can I simply move it to Internal Memory because those games are HUGE in MB...
