got my HCH as well also... overally, a good ride...

but did u guys switch to P while in traffic jam... or just let the auto stop work itself?

i realise when i keep on moving at a speed which below 10km/h, even i fully stop the car won't auto stop... when u are driving fast and fully stop, then auto stop will kick in ...

still need some time get familiar with the car

i thought even they got stock also cannot sell at the old price?

is either hold the stock or wait till new price release only can sell... unless it is pre registered lar smile.gif

the price is just an estimation... guess what, HCH come in to malaysia... if really really exclude all tax, the car is just 75k only shakehead.gif

so back to the question, anyone put your gear to S when in those heavy stop go traffic to avoid auto stop kicked in? hmm.gif

I have been driving this car since last year November. Now omos 9k km mileage oredi.. I like the car so much.. tongue.gif
I always stuck in the traffic jam in kl city.. unless is the long stop/jam i.e. waiting for traffic light, slow crawling i will put into S and disable the auto stop.. I feel pity to the engine if the start/stop too frequent.. cry.gif

logically wise, too frequently of start/stop will cause higher oil consumption right? hmm hmm
laugh.gif

i'm just worried about the wear n tear of the engine/spark plug/starter icon_question.gif

or maybe my worried is not necessary yawn.gif

I m not an engineer...but I read before somewhere...can't rber which link...bout honda hybrid auto stop....
Apparently the start n stop of hybrid is not using usual/normal alternator....rather it uses he electrical motor to start n stop.....
Hence....problem of more fuel consumption n more wear n tear kept to the minimum....
I may be wrong....I just read and tell what I have read only...

Yup...I usually put on S drive if traffic jam or crawling.....
But usual drive around city....and stopping at traffic light...I leave it on D.
Also can learn not to speed n stop fast at traffic lit...rather slowly approaching the traffic light....and viola! Before u know it ... It's already green light for u to go....wink.gif
