eh bro, sharing is caring.
mind to share the mod that u have done?

or did i miss the post? biggrin.gif
*
actually shared before but i will explain it again tongue.gif
essentially the idea is to thicken the polycap pins so they have more friction, making the arm slightly more difficult to move, hence granting more stability for heavier weapons such as this mega beam cannon brows.gif
just apply a bit of super glue on the male peg on the polycap then wrap a small thin piece of paper around it.. in more hidden areas, even a small piece of tissue may be workable tongue.gif then trim it accordingly and assemble it back accordingly
a simple fix, but so far it has been extremely helpful in keeping gundams in much more flexible poses tongue.gif

ah yes, the superglue method. haha.
i also made a blog post about that method to fix my TT NG Dynames.

http://gundamxrider.blogspot.com/2011/05/h...meet-again.html
*
mine is taking the super glue method another step further brows.gif super glue helps retain certain poses in lighter areas such as leg-waist joints or elbow-lower arm joint
but my addition to the super glue helps create even more friction, allowing the kit to hold up absurdly heavy weapons tongue.gif
an example is the Nu HWS with it's mega beam cannon brows.gif another one would be the notorious IWSP Shield as well laugh.gif
for these, i did try super glue, but there simply isn't enough friction with only glue in the end laugh.gif

time to give the markers some exercise tongue.gif but i do love the overall look.. plus with the inner frame, the lack of colors doesn't bother me as much as they should
or maybe it's just that we've come to expect so little from LWD, and they surprised us with this release

*
yeap, the initial pics already showed him do it, maxter style brows.gif the inner frame is quite amazing.. quite a step up from what LWD normally offers.. shall grab this for sure laugh.gif

u buy first and do local review laugh.gif
was quite dissatisfied with koto's pre-assemble frame last time, loose parts :/
*
never had any koto kit with frames hmm.gif but i think this frame is not pre-assembled, since i've seen some runner pics and some parts of the frame are on it
although now i'm having doubts hmm.gif the frame seems to complicated to be snap fitted from so little pieces.. and seeing as there aren't many runners, i wonder what else would be in that 11cm thick box hmm.gif it's possible that the frame MAY be pre-assembled, but i'm not going to jump to conclusions so soon

Here is the LUBU review link:

http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1767379542

Conclusion of the modeler:

1) Plastic - OK
2) Snap fit between the PC & plastic r abit hard, need to trim to avoid gap line.
3) Detailing - 8/10
4) Cement need?- depanding.
5) Worth with the price/ or if u like a challange.
6) Better than the RC stingle.
7) advice from modeler- Ppl put too much hope on LUBU, but it can be a master peice , depand on your skills.

just looking at it i think it looks great, the works needed to put into it should be expected since it's LWD, but the details are all present that touching up doesn't seem to be much of a problem.. i think it will be quite fun to work on this kit.. i'm looking forward to it

With all the mistakes Nighty had, they need to remake that whole kit from scratch.
*
well they got a few things right, like the massive wings are put on locking joints that they don't flop about under the extreme weight
i think that's about all they got right whistling.gif the rest is horrible and a pain to put together

I think I will not collect this tongue.gif .... coz I lazy want to paint it.. =,= I already see many masking tap is needed..  whistling.gif
*
small enough detail that perhaps marker is enough whistling.gif or for customizing.. the inner frame is enough that i'd buy it whistling.gif if all else fails, the inner frame is good for drawing human figures rclxm9.gif

Another top-notch review. Just curious, does it still retain the Bandai version's problem of not being able to support the weight of the GN Sword III if the sword is held across the body?
*
nothing a bit of modding won't fix.. but it's far more solid compared to the original
in the case of joints, here's an example of my 00R holding the notoriously heavy GN Buster Sword

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

but i think the he has no problem holding it across his body, although my unit tends to pop off a lot above the elbow joint, but it's quite stable otherwise
