also, the total ram is now 779 instead of 780, n the ram usage nt tat high anymore, previously ram usage was constantly ard 650, nw 500+.

If you restore your android backup, you will return to your original rom with all its stuffs as at on point of backup. It will overwrite your present rom
Use titanium backup to extract out the apps of the nandroid backup if you need the apps back

i can uninstall it in setting>application manager>downloaded tab>flipboard>uninstall.
fyi, i downloaded flipboard myself last time, nt come wit the latest OTA update, bt i guess u can remove it tis way also.

it took me 2 hours to finish updating via kies pc..

upgrade using pc is it download whole rom file ?

i dun have flipboard before updating to the newest update..
currently on stock rom..

after the update, it got installed automatically..
if u try to go to Apps > left soft button > uninstall

u can see that there is no minus sign on the Flipboard icon..
check in the app manager also flipboard is not listed..

conclusion, can't uninstall it on stock rom, flipboard is like intergrated inside the system.

maybe after rooting can uninstall it along with the bloatwares with titanium backup?

sumore not the latest version.. integrated inside.. can't uninstall but disable only.. force stop..

yes.. kies pc update is for the full firmware..
but no choice since i dun got the OTA.. and the manual click via software update in settings also shows no update..

To: All Lowyat Forum S3 Guru here , i need help just brought S3 2 week + . But already auto restart more that 5 time because of hang . im not the heavy user downloading alot app. The only few app i install which is watapp, facebook, twitter . i notice i have open deliver message notification . so each time i send an sms will have delivery report. when delevary report come in some time , will make hold device no sound. then i go task manager clear all application , the sound will coming back . izzit need send my phone to SAMSUNG for RMA ? my bro & sis also using S3 but they told me , their phone langsung no restart before . and also no hang ! so izzit my phone problem ?

have u tried disabling the delivery report and see if the symptoms come back?

if all things fail.. try a factory reset first..

hey guys, was wondering, why my S3 dun hv swype?

now i notice i also unable to uninstall flipboard, unlike last time, instead of showing 'uninstall' in app manager, now it shows 'uninstall updates'. n yea, the icon also unable to delete or uninstall from the app drawer as u said, it alre integrated in the system.

wat is ur flipboard version? mine is 1.8.4 build 111
