all file inside your internal / external sdcard won't backup
if you flash those custom ROM base on stock rom, no need wipe *need same version, like your stock rom is XXBLFB and the custom rom also base on XXBLFB then can just flash over it those backup file is inside internal or external sdcard, look it yourself |

QUOTE(eddydo @ Jul 11 2012, 05:54 PM) then you can download any custom rom base on XXALF6 or XXBLFB and flash it overno need wipe anything, since 3 person (or more than 3 people) here said just flash over no problem at all QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 11 2012, 05:54 PM) If change to CM9, AOKP and AOSP, then need wipe, or else it high possible won't boot up. I not try any yet. Not interesting on it yet. haha if that one still no need wipe I don't know what to say same here, not interest on other custom rom yet, only interested on those who base on stock rom QUOTE(apisfires @ Jul 11 2012, 05:55 PM) so at last those custom rom as long as base on stock rom, even different version build number (XXALF6 or XXBLFB) also can just flash it ?example now using XXBLFB stock or custom rom, flash the XXALF6 custom rom no need wipe ? |

QUOTE(weretiger @ Jul 11 2012, 06:30 PM) Damn la ..... ask me to manage application now while I tried to install spiderman ! But I have 500meg available in my system Rom ! Why ????? buy memory card / clear up some spaceQUOTE(eddydo @ Jul 11 2012, 06:31 PM) Lastly, will anything happen if i flash checkrom v3.5 into XXALF6 baseband? or should i flash v2, which is for XXALFX6? Im coming from a complete virgin stock rom off course flash to latest checkrom QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Jul 11 2012, 06:32 PM) do this bro. LOL now only I know TB got the function to extract from nandroid backup @@1. clear up some space. if you said just now you could get 4GB worth of space, then it's enough for a nandroid backup, but if CWM couldnt detect the space for your huge apps, then it would only backup ur working current ROM. 2. boot into recovery, do the backup. by backup in CWM recovery, it means Nandroid backup. Cx the status after the backup is done, whether the apps are backed up or not via the CWM itself or boot normally into ur ROM, open ur TB and hit the Menu button, choose Extract from Nandroid Backup and see whether it got the list of ur apps. 3. put the new ROM in ur internal SD. Make sure it has some space left, preferably 2x the space of the ROM for extracting purposes. Too low a size, it's either you'll get an error of not having enough space or the flashing of the new ROM would take longer. Make sure you follow the dev's way of flashing; clear up Dalvik cache, bat stat etc. Cx out the dev page for more info. 4. If it flashes mean youre all right. Wait till it finishes. Boot up and test everything in the new ROM. 5. If everything works fine in the new ROM, delete the ROM .zip file and try to restore some of ur apps, based on ur space available left in ur internal. No need ext SD oso is ok, but it would be safer to have the ext SD card.
