QUOTE(Bonescythe @ May 6 2015, 01:00 PM) The places that I had tried out is Ozen Zanmai in MV, The Zen (A restaurant wing from Yu Yang Sang) and also Secret Lock at Kuchai Lama.. All recorded as RETAIL TRX.. Kena con??? Better call HLB CS to confirm the MCC for these transactions... if it doesn't fall under the category code, then too bad. Fault of the merchant, not the bank.

QUOTE(laymank @ Jun 23 2015, 08:54 AM) Yup, just received a call over the phone and it's done. No doc whatsoever. The surprise is the RM100 rebate that I didn't expect at all. Free cash to "reactivate" ??? But HLB likes to give money and take it back later... BEWARE !!!

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 8 2016, 11:46 AM) Rebate is given on monthly basis, every month's 1st. You mean credit into our Mach CC every month on the 1st of next month ? I thought it's calculated based on quarterly limit (like AEON CC)

QUOTE(laymank @ Feb 7 2016, 01:32 PM) the CS finally got back to me in black and white, however only partially answered. here's the reply in regard to 'category' vs 'package': "As per enquiry, the cashback is capped at RM 100 for 3 categories." That's so "incorrect" based on the T&C https://www.machbyhongleongbank.com/product...ch-credit-card/Refer to (3) and (5). Also their little slider for spending is also should be incorrect. QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 8 2016, 09:55 PM) Yes, credited on monthly basis but limit is based on quarterly. Not like Aeon which pays once every quarter. Eg. If spend for January 2016, the Jan-2016 rebate will be posted on 1st February 2016. Is that correct ?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 8 2016, 10:08 PM) yes, but all your transactions posting date must be in jan 2016. Similar to Maybankard 2 AMEX or Maybankard VS cash back system then... understood. I wonder if the 1 hour card issuance still valid at their MACH branch

I've joined the bandwagon for HLB Mach last week... didn't get the on-the-spot approval. The guy said cos I've an existing HLB CC holder. The next day morning, card is approved as received SMS. Next day went to Mach branch to get my MACH Card embossed on the spot :-)
fruitie Ya saw it in my HLB Connect with the chosen package listed. I wonder would the SMS transaction alert is based on my RM1 set for HLB Wise ?

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 22 2016, 09:06 AM) quick question about Mach's Mobile bill payment to Maxis. seems paying Maxis postpaid bill is eligible for 3% cashback by Mach (yes, there's RM5/quarter fee). anyone have tried Maxis Fiber bill using Mach? can pay Maxis Fiber using MaxisPay? or need to use MyLaunchpad? Yes. You can pay any Maxis Mobile and Home Fibre via MaxisPay ... it's considered MOBILE (under HLB WISE)

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Mar 2 2016, 09:07 AM) This is for Style package. However, Niichi Outlet @ 1 Utama, is not under Style for 2% Package and Category is different term. Package consists of a few Categories Style "category" outlets are only those merchant they listed on their brochure only, right ? QUOTE(laymank @ Mar 9 2016, 11:49 AM) But the CS didn't say it will be in March, she just said it's not eligible for cashback cause it's under Fast Food MCC. Another case of "blur sotong CS" ... own product T&C also didn't read properly.
