Campaign Mechanics

1. HLB will be rewarding 2x cashback for 3-months to Participants who sign-up and are approved cardholders of Mach Credit Card within the Campaign Period.
2. 2x cashback will be calculated based on the total amount of cashback credited into the Participants’ account for the first 3 months from the approval date of the Mach Credit Card. The cashback amount is credited on the 1st of every month.
3. The 2x cashback for eligible Participants will be fulfilled within five (5) months from the Participant’s approval date of the Mach Credit Card. The cashback earned inclusive of the 2x cashback during the Campaign Period is subject to a maximum capping of RM100 per quarter for each category under the Mach Credit Card.

double also ok mar.. groceries get 4%.. easily achieve RM100 cashback.. =D

4% Grocery but capped at RM100 : Can spend up to RM2500
2% Grocery but capped at RM200 : Can spend up to RM10000

Depends on how much u spend actually. No right or wrong.
if I spend 10k on groceries in 3 months then yes I will say its unfair.
if I spend around 2.5 then I would say its a bargain. 

HLB not short sighted lah, it's a marketing tool to attract new sign up and not to benefit big spenders like you where they'll be losing money 

Bro, are you willing to buy RM10K groceries voucher and keep it for later use? RM1K maybe lah, but RM10K, I prefer to keep CASH than vouchers.

Just applied MACH card from Paradigm mall, they told me existing HLB card holder able to waived the 1st year annual fee and get RM50 to off set the GST too but with condition.

After swipe 12 times, call CS and they will waived for you. ANy HLB staff can double confirm this?

i tried to do an interbank giro via m2u but as there's no specific MACH under the options for banks hence I inputted my MACH card number along with HLB as the bank but the transfer was rejected...
Not a customer of HLB and no plans to be 1 anytime soon.

Has anyone paid their bill before? I tried to pay using fund transfer via CIMB Clicks but error occurred. So can just pay by cash/cheque at Mach branch right? Btw, I do not have any saving/current account with Hong Leong Bank.

Max points for cash is RM200 (excluding the RM50 cash rebate bonus). With the conversion rate at 500 points per RM1 cash, you will need an existing 100k points to get the max cash rebate. 

Wah, i need to lurk at this Mach thread too. The points conversion promo is novel and good for SCB choicepoints
