i oso blur on this NIKKO whether can be done by foot or the bus. the website stated first are allow to use the servis train, but from the route, we only allow to use once from asakusa to shimoimachi once..but the map look like the shimoimachi is the last station and another station NIKKO..not sure whether it covers up to NIKKO or not..

From Sinkansen, view for sure lousy wan bcos the glass probably not clean. For best view, must take nearby that railway tracks.. and once the sinkansen passing by..snap wth the Mt Fuji

1 of the places i will be visiting is kyoto, and i just want to ask is it easy to get lost in kyoto?

really need to use the taxi? i will be going japan also year end and AA will arrived at Haneda at 11.pm... they do have train till 12 midnite rite?... anyone had experience to catch the train or it is impossible? anyone?..

Anyone knows how much is is roughly for airport transfer (taxi for 4 person) from Haneda airport to hotel? My hotel is in Shinagawa so it's actually only 15km from the airport. Checked online and the lowest is around 8,400 yen. I was told can get for RM200. Is this true?

Btw, should book in advance or better to just get a taxi upon arrival at the airport. I'm reaching around 11pm+.

As long u can find food set circa 700yen that is cheap.

n as phyzz said, boil the water, n refill ur bottle. thats what i always do.
Go konbini (best if u can find 100yen shop) n stock ur food supplies. they come in handy when u miss ur dinner etc

Anyone here rented a car and drove around Japan on their own? Would like to hear your experience. I'll be driving from Tokyo to Nagoya to Ise to Kyoto to Hakone then back to Tokyo airport.

Hey guys. Does anyone here know how to read Hyperdia's directions?

I've attached an example. This is how I read it: Take the Keikyu Airport Exp (which costs 400yen) to Shinagawa. From Shinagawa, take the JR Yokosuka Line to Tokyo, change train to JR Sobu Line to get to Bakurocho. The latter part costs 160 yen. Is this correct?
