We still dont have any legend at Emirates we only have Legend of Highbury

QUOTE(throx @ Jul 7 2012, 05:49 PM)
I still cannot understand why some fans rant on the board and the manager. RVP's statement was clearly a way to force the club to sell him so that he won't be looked like "betraying" the club and the fans.

I don't buy the "not ambitious" and "have different idea on how the club should move forward" claims. With Poldoski and Giroud in plus RVP himself, we already have the best strike force (bar Man City) in BPL. The defensive problem can also be solved largely by having a true DM (M'villa ??) and I believe AW is working towards signing one, whether it's M'villa or another player. With that, most fans are optimistic that we can challenge for BPL next season.

AFC deserved better from RVP because of all the faith and patience the Club and manager have had with him in the past 8 years where he spent almost half of the time in the treating room.

it's heartbroken to see our best players leave every consecutive end of season. and last year was the worst. losing both Fab4 and Nasri. but life goes on for arsenal. arsenal looked completely out of gas in the first quarter of the season. losing game after game and then humiliated by man utd. come 2nd quarter, climbed quitely to the top half of the table. and suddenly gained momentum and managed to break into top 3 by the end of the season. what a twist and turn of event. having lost first leg of UCL against ac milan, we bounced back with a remarkable win at home but that's still not enuff to see us thru to the next round. but that game proved that arsenal got great characters and determination. if RVP does leave, will it affect arsenal ? yes. RVP is a world class forward and arsenal will definitely missed him more than fab and nasri combined. because he's the man that can make a difference between a lose and a win. fab and nasri departure impact was cushioned by the arrival of another decent successor - arteta and in-form again rosicky. early purchase of podolski and arrival of giroud already signalled that arsenal was preparing for life without rvp. no more panic buying.

how can people comparing Chamakh with Giroud?

i still didnt understand it..... giroud give montpellier they first trophy in this modern day while chamakh is not.....

Giroud is like main man same like Van Persie
Chamakh score 9 goals before coming to arsenal while giroud score 21 goals what a huge difference.... chamakh only score a header while giroud can score with his left foot and his head there is a huge difference between him and Chamakh

Plus we also got Podolski who is a main man at Cologne so now we got 2 main man in Arsenal...

I'm still hoping that RvP would make a twist in this matter and sign the contract. I am quite sure there's an underlying agenda behind all this. RvP will stay, at least until the end of next season. And I would take a hit just to keep being optimistic that he will stay, despite all these f*cking transfer rumours.

Why sad lol. Not that we need another CB.

Plus that guys do U-Turn so fast lol. When linked with Spuds, said he wanted to go. Then when transfer broke down, said I'm going to do my best for Ajax. After that, wanted to go again.

Denilson extends loan spell at Sao Paulo

QUOTE
Paulo for the 2012/13 season.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who began his career at the club as an academy player, returned to Brazil last term for an initial 12-month spell during which he made a total of 47 appearances, helping the team to sixth place in the Brasileirao.

Denilson has played 153 times for the Gunners since making his debut in October 2006, but with opportunities for first-team football limited at Arsenal ahead of the 2011/12 season, he has returned to his boyhood club.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Denilson well for his continued spell with Sao Paulo.

QUOTE
Nico says:
July 8, 2012 at 8:51 am People forget that we’re still in debt and have any expenses at all. People assume that since we do generate millions, everything should be thrown into transfers. People forget that the money is used for:

* Player wages
* Staff wages
* Stadium debt
* Other debt
* Stadium maintainence
* Training ground / other facilities maintainence
* Player transfers
* New medical centre
* Medical treatment/bills
* Sign-on fees
* Payment to feeder teams/satellite teams
* Public relations
* Scouting network (which is 10 times larger than anyone can imagine)

Not to mention the fact that we’ve just spent around £22m + agent fees, sign-on fees + space in the wage budget for Giroud and Podolski.

For Christ’s sake, we don’t even pay our shareholders.

People are just blindly following the Usmanov bandwagon. People reads one thing, settles for that, thinking that’s reality. People have no clue what the reality is. How a club is run. How to stay financially viable. Self-sufficient.

“Ooh, seven years, no trophy.” It wouldn’t have mattered if we had won the FA Cup three years ago or whatever. “Ooh, three years, no trophy”. It wouldn’t have mattered if we had won the Carling Cup final against Birmingham.
“Ooh, it’s only the Carling Cup”.

“Oh, god we only rely on youth and they’re not good enough, we need experience, Wenger’s policy sucks”. Wenger buys experience. “OMG, why doesn’t Wenger give Ox more games, promote Ryo and Afobe!?!?!?! I’ve read so many good things about them on the internet”.

“We need a big, tall central defender”. Wenger buys one. “Oh, God, Mertesacker is shit, we don’t want to give him a chance to prove himself and adapt to the Premier League, we want a new central defender.”

“We want a new defensive midfielder, preferrebly in the £20m range. We don’t care about the fact that buying a £20m backup / challenger to Song is completely unrealistic and that City is the only team with enougyh financial muscle to actually do this, and even they don’t do it”. “We don’t care about the fact that Song is one of the longest-serving, reliable and loyal players in today’s team”. “OH GOD DID YOU SEE SONG’S ASSIST TO VAN PERSIE? WHAT A LAD! THE AFRICAN XAVI”. “Oh, God, I wish Song would just stay behind and let others take part in the offensive plays”.

“WE LOVE VERMAELEN, we just ignore the fact that his positionining skills is on par with Almunia, because Vermaelen is a hero”.

“We don’t care about the fact that we have Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Koscielny and Djorou, we STILL want a new £15m central defender to replace Squillaci for 5th choice or Djorou for 4th”.

“We need a new top class goalkeeper, we don’t care about the fact that Szczesny is only 22 years old and have improved immensly since his return from Brentford. We need to pay £15m for Lloris, he’s much better”.

“We still need to buy a new striker if and when van Persie leaves, I don’t care about the fact that we have just bought Podolski and Giroud, they’re not good enough, I’m not willing to give them a chance, they’re gonna turn out to be Chamakh ver. 2 and 3. This is why we need to spend £20m on a another striker”.

“Ramsey is fuc*ing shit, we don’t care about the fact that he was out for over a year and is being played out of position, we need a new world class midfielder”.

“Please leave, Walcott, we don’t care about all your goals and assists, we pick out the bad moments and make everything about those”.

“OX IS SOOOOO GOOD, we base our opinion about this player around the three decent runs he makes in sixty minutes, and form our opinions about him based on that. He needs to play every game, but we also want a world class winger, again in the £20m range”.

Wenger can’t win, Arsenal can’t win. Welcome to the Arsenal.

To put things in perspective, here’s a direct quote from Ally McCoist:

“We have a transfer embargo hanging over us but how can I operate with a transfer embargo when I only have six players? It’s impossible and it’s just madness.

“I have in the region of six first team players at pre-season training right now, two of whom were regulars last season in the SPL.

“We need to bring in the region of 10, 12 or even 14 players. I reckon since January we have lost close to 21 players.

“For the record, in terms of sanctions that have been imposed already, we were deducted 10 points, we had our Champions League place taken away from us, we were fined £160,000, we are out of Europe for another three years and, of course, we are out of the SPL”.

What do their fans do? They support their team. Every time. One hundred percent.

this is exactly what i think of most fans.

that's why Henry is Legend.

He didn't complain publicly that he wants to go but he let the manager handle that. Until the deal was done, he maintain that he is still arsenal player and he loves the club. smile.gif

Van Persie hand't even go right? He just doesn't want to extend his contract. He will be an outright Arsenal player as long as his contract is still running. Much like what Pires did. Finish contract then cao. Van Persie will still score 30 goals for us coming season if he maintains his best form in his captain armband and guide our new striker like Giroud and Podolski.

He burned his bridges man, how the heck will he play knowing he practically insulted the manager and players outright? His motivation to do so is simple, to force wenger's hand to sell him. My hope is to make as much money by selling him, invest in defense and midfield and get another striker (Jovetic).

how could he perform and score 30 goals again if Arsenal fans boo him every time he gets the ball?

or do you expect the fans will still cheers for him?

Walcott meanwhile is unhappy with the offer of a new four-year deal, worth £70,000-a-week. He wants nearer £100,000 and has emerged as a target for Chelsea.
Wenger is prepared to allow the England international to leave at the right price, believed to be £15m.

yep...

1 thing. Awesome! best RM260 spent! hahaha

gonna get numbered soon. thinking of Pires or Rosicky. smile.gif

to me Rosicky is a true gunner. He had his ups and downs but this season he showed he's still capable at AM... and he didn't hesitate to sign an new contract extension when the club offered to him. We showed faith in him, and now he's repaying it back on the pitch. I know a lot of people wants him out due to his injuries but clearly we know shit than AW.

RVP, on the other hand, played with fire and now he got burnt. I don't really know what's gonna happen because last time also he make a uturn and signed an extension. however, it'll be hard this time because fans are raging mad with him. Also, i dont recall any players criticising AW and Arsenal ways before. It's definitely crossing the line between tolerance and mutiny. To me, it's too late for RVP to retract the statements or to even cover up for it. He has all week to do so, but he didn't.... not even on twitter. So, for the sake of the club, i hope AW and the club will stand firm and sell him but not to Mancity. Please sell to Juve even if it's for a lesser fee than what MC have to offer.... but the ideal situation would be to swap with Buffon. biggrin.gif

we lost Henry.... the whole team carried through.... almost winning EPL in 07-08.

We lost cesc... nasri... still finished 3rd and above all those who supposedly far superior than us.

Arsenal always find a way..... our pride and tradition will guide us through. Don't abandon our philosophy and we will triumph.

i hope with the promotion of Steve Bould into asst manager position, our defence will improve. We can win games.... no doubt about that.... however, we need defence to win championships. smile.gif

People say that Spain play offense all the time, but did u see how far their midfields track back and close down opponents? it's a team effort. I hope Arsenal will learn this and be strong this year

1-nil to the Arsenal. all the way. I wouldn't mind ending the season GF 38, GA 0. smile.gif winning all games by 1 goal to nil.

hahahahahahahaha now that would be LEGENDARY INVINCIBLE!

The biggest problem for Arsenal right now is replacing their top caliber player - Robin Van Persie. We can all say that it's largely about the money because we got to admit that Manchester City has more to offer than Arsenal. The question is who else can save the Gunners?

Van Persie hand't even go right? He just doesn't want to extend his contract. He will be an outright Arsenal player as long as his contract is still running. Much like what Pires did. Finish contract then cao. Van Persie will still score 30 goals for us coming season if he maintains his best form in his captain armband and guide our new striker like Giroud and Podolski.

Walcott has seriously got to be joking right? Ox is bound for better glory and fame then him. Better control, better crosses, better dribbling, a more all rounder player and his not even demanding anything.

Theo is a seriously up and down player. 1 game plays well 3 games out. 2 games play well 4 games out..i would not mind him being sold for a good price, and let ox, gervy take over his position. Even for England ox had more chances then him.

The France international still has two years left on his current contract with the Gunners but manager Arsene Wenger is said to be keen to tie the defender down to a new deal amidst interest from a number of top sides around Europe, including Inter.

Arsenal have offered Koscielny an extension that would bind him to the Emirates until June 2017, according to L'Equipe.

Vermaelen already extended in the middle of last year. Rosicky did it too. Not everyone is like Nasri and Rvp flex.gif flex.gif

Unfortunately if Titi said that it wouldn't be convincing either, since he left us for Barca and managed to win the CL.

Come back Titi, don your number 12 again; and if Theo really makes an unwise decision and stalls on his contract, reclaim your #14!

Arsenal and Barcelona in battle for Toulouse midfielder Capoue

QUOTE
Arsenal face a battle with Spanish giants Barcelona for the signature of £9.5m-rated Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has lined up a move for Capoue after cooling his interest in Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila, reports talkSPORT.

However, reports in the Catalan media suggest that new Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has identified Capoue and M'Vila as potential replacements for Seydou Keita, who has ended his four-year Nou Camp spell to join Chinese club Dalian Aerbin.
And having spent a portion of his summer transfer budget on Spain left-back Jordi Alba, Vilanova could opt for Capoue, who would cost the Catalan club £6.5m less than France international M'Vila.

what would happen if there is no bid for him?

Etienne Capoue plays as a DM/CB. similar attributes like m'vila but m'vila is stronger physically. they are compared to Lassana Diarra and Sissoko.

Maybe other clubs knows he can only do well at arsenal

Many football article saying its a big mistake for rvp to move out from arsenal. I hope he read that.

If no one bid i think he will sign contract

Anyway i just played france in fifa 12. They have a lot of quality players that are not that popular.. maybe wenger can get few of em since he like france playrrs

Van Persie may sign new Arsenal deal

Arsenal transfer news: Robin van Persie could still sign new deal

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie could reportedly perform a surprising u-turn by committing his future to the club, just days after revealing he would not sign a new deal.

Van Persie will be out of contract this time next year, and last week revealed in a statement that he had decided against extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium following a disagreement regarding the club's future direction.

It has since been suggested that the 28-year-old striker could be sold before the start of the new season, with Manchester City credited with interest, in order to avoid losing him for nothing in 12 months.

Arsene Wenger is said to have set the asking price for Walcott at £15 million as he grows increasingly frustrated at the winger’s reluctance to sign a new deal. Such a value would then facilitate an offer in the region of £10 million for the wantaway Moses.

yea purple and maroon. i actually saw a couple at lowyat waering the kit.
it was stripey..

wonder where they got it..

From Thailand. 100% fake. No one can go by anything apart from the leaked pics. Pirates used preliminary leaked photos to make one to garner early sales but looks like the joke will be on the buyers instead because the maroon and black stripe kit seems to be an inaccurate leak. Looks increasingly more likely it will be the one which is purple with black stripes and red tips at the sleeves.

Gardens. Seems they have a lot of stock. You can try out all sizes freely and still can get a brand new mint, unopened still in plastic and sandpaper one if you decide to buy. smile.gif

Its safe to say that all Nike outlets opened by Sportsland Sdn Bhd are giving away free tickets. That includes those in all major malls Curve, Pyramid, Pavilion and maybe KLCC if I am not wrong. The one in 1U sort of closed for renovation at the moment last I saw so don't think its available there.

Gunners on Milo trail
Egyptian defender on Arsenal radar
user posted image
QUOTE
Sky Sports understands that Arsenal have joined the chase for Egypt international defender Milo.

The highly-rated 21-year-old, full name Islam Ramadan, currently plays in his homeland for Haras El Hodood.

He has come to the attention of a host of clubs after starring at the recent Toulon tournament in France.

Lyon were linked, but Portuguese giants Benfica and Sporting Lisbon had been heading the chase.

However, Arsenal are now believed to have expressed an interest and want to check on his progress at the Olympics, where he will feature for Egypt.

After learning of Arsenal's interest, it is believed the young left-back is looking to keep his options open until after the Games in London.

Milo hoping for Gunners switch
Full-back eye English switch
user posted image
QUOTE
Egyptian left-back Milo admits he would love to seal a move to Arsenal this summer.

Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that Arsenal had joined the likes of Lyon, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon in the chase for the 21-year-old - who currently plays for Haras Al Hodood.

Now the player has confirmed that he is aware of Arsenal's interest and he is hopeful he can impress them during the forthcoming Olympic tournament.

He told FilGoal: "Arsenal officials have been following me since my participation in the Toulon tournament in 2009.

"And the English team got more interested in me after Toulon 2012 and I'm now waiting for their official letter.

"I will meet with the Haras Al Hodood officials before I leave with the Olympic squad on Thursday (to France for two warm-up matches) to understand their stance from this offer.

"I believe the Arsenal scouts will watch me closely at the London Olympics. My participation at London 2012 is what will determine my next step, and I hope to come to a European club."

Would be nice if we get a LB too. Plus this Milo is young so maybe can be backup of Gibbs.

Then we push Santos to fight with Podolski for left mid. FUUU~

Seems like M'baye Niang is a FM game favorite. If can get at 5-8mil for this 17 years old then worth a gamble.

Arsenal's new kit is made out of recycled waste..... rclxms.gif

The Gunners have unveiled their striking purple and black hooped design - along with a garish bright pink goalkeeper's strip - and revealed that each set of shirt and shorts has been made using up to 13 recycled plastic water bottles.

Is manufactured from Nike's ground-breaking recycled polyester, making it their most environmentally friendly kit ever produced, reducing energy consumption by up to 30 per cent compared to traditional polyester.

While Arsene Wenger's men will no doubt be applauded for doing their bit to help the environment, the reaction to their unusual choice of colour remains to be seen.

It's certainly a far cry from the traditional yellow away kit associated with so many Arsenal triumphs over the years, including the one worn by Michael Thomas when he scored a last-gasp title-winning strike at Anfield in 1989.

Arsenal FC admit Olivier Giroud signed as Robin van Persie replacement

QUOTE
But Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi has admitted the £13million signing can be considered as a replacment for the Dutchman.

"Was the recruitment of Giroud made to compensate for his Van Persie’s departure? Yes, we worked to avoid being cornered," he told Le10sport.com.

"We want him to stay home but he is left with one year on his contract so it is complicated.

"At Arsenal, there is a healthy atmosphere, he’s been here for eight years and he has a real commitment to the club."

Grimandi has also revealed that Van Persie will be sold this summer if the price is right.

"If there is a great offer and if he wants to leave, it will be difficult to keep him," he added.

Still feel we are a little short IMO. Not everyone will be fit all season. 1 more in defense preferably a fullback and 1 in midfield to deputise Song would be just right I feel. Arshavin is a goner I think. And 1 more striker if Chamakh leaves.

Vertonghen is not a fullback and I doubt he would want to play 2nd string to Kos and Verm. Yeap, M'Vila would certainly be nice.

Thing is we had been doing alot of roller coaster. There were too many ups and down in the team and no one gave consistent performance like Fabregas and RVP. There were so many seasons we were this close

user posted image

to win the league only to crumbled everything and lost or draw every single matches at the end that descended us from possible 1st to 3rd or 4th. Hope for the best next season and if we are strong enough to beat City last season, so do we for next ones... Looking forward to next season!

oO btw, at last I found another 2NE1 fan yeah~!

Added on July 13, 2012, 4:22 amlol got this from twitter: Carroll & Henderson: £55m - Ibrahimovic & Silva: £49m - Van Persie & Song: £3.75m.

and

The Carroll/Henderson vs Ibra/Silva just shows how overpriced BPL players are Liverpool or not.

and won quite a number of trophies
play for Inter then to Spain, then play for Milan, now PSG....his career is super interdasting

Thiago Silva just signed extension few weeks ago. Contract don't mean anything these day. Except for it hold the player value, so the club can get decent amount of money for their wantaway player.

Citeh already has the title-winning squad, their challenge is to retain the players and get rid of the not needed players. since we know they can get anyone they want in term of pricing.

waiting for ManC to splash their cash, they seems to be very relaxed tis season, probably they are waiting for RvP, but wth they need 1 more striker, they got Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez.. unless they wan challenge all the title and win quadruple.. btw, any news on Wilshere? Will he able to play for us at the start? I think we have a better team next season than this season, at least we have podolski and giroud in case RvP left. Unlike last season, we have nobody to replace Fab when Nasri left and Clichy left, with all the injuries.. (worst nightmare since Arsenal formed lolz)

HENRI #14???

It'd be good to see Henri finally joining the first team after all this time being loaned elsewhere and playing in the reserves. This guy seems very committed and bleeds Arsenal, although he's still nowhere close to a starting berth in our midfield trio.

Ok, was in the study room searching for old military record of my dad then I just realize that the rack do not have the glass no more (old design with glass door type). Then thing is there is a priceless car sticker on the glass.
So I asked my mom about it and she said that the glass has shattered some time ago while I was away and some of the glass was at the backyard. So this morning I went to the backyard and search for the glass and I found it. The sticker seems smiling at me.

RvP should have his final meeting with the BOD in this coming few days
can't wait for the verdict, good or bad i just want it to end.
there is a slim chance, RVP might do a U-Turn

Mancini claims he wants Dzeko and Tevez to stay
and Ibra deal still hanging to PSG, means Milan have not gotten themselves a potential replacement yet
i guess RVP final decision will decide if there is a mass chain re-action in the transfer market or not.
a few parties are waiting for our result here lol

walcott is rumoured wanted by liverpool.what say u guys?does he deserved 100k/week wage demand and the 15m gbp price tag?
*
IMO, i will let him got given suitable price. I mean ENGLISH player price. If Carrol worth 30 mil, Walcott 35 mil.

Then fine decent replacement.

Sadly it looks like there will be a bidding war and that in itself rules us out already. I'd be surprised if we signed him.

There will not be any discussion on his contract as he had already said he won't renew it.
He wants to go to Juventus.

Seems we have made a 9 million bid for Conrinthians' Paulinho and showing interest in Holtby from Schalke. To be honest I have no idea who these people are.

QUOTE
Wenger weighs in with £9m Paulinho bid and Arsenal boss also wants Holtby

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not finished in the transfer market after making a £9million offer for Corinthians star Paulinho and showing interest in Schalke's Lewis Holtby.
Wenger has already signed Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski this summer but the Gunners boss could be about to lose Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
The pair have one year left on their contracts and Van Persie has said he will not be signing a new deal while Walcott has been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea.
Wenger faces a fight to land Paulinho with Corinthians chairman Mario Gobbi insisting the attacking midfielder, who has three years left on his contract, will not be sold.
Holtby, however, has just a year left to run at the Bundelsiga club and although he insists he is happy where he is, the 21-year-old has claimed in the past he would welcome a move to the Premier League.
Holtby, whose father is English, has two caps for Germany.

knew its only a matter of time,
Bye Vela sad.gif

anyway the RvP saga is really mindfuk
(keep RVP till next season, risk losing him on a free or if we do well get him to sign next year) <---- at first i thought the very idea of this is impossible, considering its Arsenal...
but now come to think of it, possible dei!

what do you guys think?

will we get RVP to sign
or
he leaves
or
stay till end of contract leave free or sign

Won't put much on that articles. The only direct quote is

QUOTE
“We are going to keep him and hold him to his current contract,” a senior source told Goal.com. “When he is 30 it will be easier to re-sign him and in the last year [of his deal] we hope he will change his mind about wanting to leave.”

which credibility is worthless.

RvP staying or going, I don't really care either way anymore.

Just placed order from Kitbag for the new jersey with my own name on it... that seems to be the safest thing to do rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Also, since the official blue tee was also on sale, ordered that one as well with my own initials on it, another safe bet ...

The downside of all this is that I won't be going to the 24/7 match.... hahah... maybe go for the training session tho...

Lewis Holtby is German + English kid. more of a pacey winger...plays for Schalke. similar attributes as Marko Marin.
Paulinho is another young brazillian..coming from the same ranks as Oscar, neymar, ganso...

Arsene is still stubborn!! going for kids! who will turn out to leave us at their peak..zzzzz

get ppl like Hulk - replaces walcott at the Right!

I've seen Hulk play 4 times in full 90 minutes. All in the Champions League against us and he was sh*t in every minute of all. Sorry, one of the most overrated players in world football at the moment IMO and I wouldn't wanna waste 30 million on him.

Also there's at 2pm on 23rd July, there's a Nike event at an undisclosed school. Assuming several, if not all of the Nike ambassadors will go for that. Hence, the Arsenal Fans Party might not be the full Arsenal squad but should have the majority of them. Need to find out what's their activity on 24th. Seems to have a lot of time.
For those who wants to catch a glimpse of the players might want to head on down to Shah Alam stadium in the mornings. They could have training session there. No guarantees. It was what happened last year

I think there will plenty be parking space...
if you come early there is carpark (last time serve as temporary bus terminal to NORTHERN region)

For Muslim want to come early
there is a mosque there.

and want to bukak puasa
you can come early to the nearest Carrefour Hypermarket Sri Petaling, got KFC, MCD some nasi Ayam Franchise or park there. and around the stadium entrance infront of lrt station...hell lot of gerai makanan (pasar malam alike) and some merchandise

http://www.kldir.com/listing/carrefour-hyp...i-petaling.html

inb4 lagi dekat park dengan stadium, lagi susah nak keluar...need to wait the traffic to clear 1st:)

if you come early there is carpark (last time serve as temporary bus terminal to NORTHERN region)

I just read this awesome post in an Arsenal blog and just can't help but to share this :

QUOTE
My advice to players who are offered an inordinate amount of money (or even are just aware of the potential to earn it) to leave a club where they have been successful and have a good relationship with fans is this - tell the truth. If you have a chance to earn more money, say so, openly. Say that playing football is a job and that you have been offered the same job for more money and you are going to take it. Don’t ever say that you are one of the fans unless you are. And if you are, never leave. Because that’s not what supporters do.

You can read it at its website

I was wondering are cameras permitted in the stadium? Can we take pictures during the game?

Because according to the emirates stadium

"Cameras/Video cameras
Cameras and video cameras are allowed to be brought into the Stadium but due to copyright laws they can not be used when players are on the pitch. This also includes the players warm up session."

Would be real sweet if he joined given that he's an Arsenal supporter, although I doubt that he would want to leave City at the moment when he's vice captain and possibly need to sit on the bench when Bak is fit. Although he's probably going to go straight into the first team if he does join given Bak's fracture.

Not buying this, not when Robin's camp released that cloak and dagger statement about the club and his future.

If he's not staying, sell him quick. We've acted swiftly enough to capture both Poldi and Ollie to cushion the blow, but we cannot be held ransom by players. If his heart is no longer here, let him go. Sorry Robin, thought you truly bled Arsenal but you're just like everyone else.

Lots of hoohah about youngsters now especially the young Caen forward Niang. Not too excited about it given we've capture Ryo, Ox, and Joel Campbell last season, and still have Aneke and Afobe waiting to make the step forward.

On the other hand, it'd be interesting to see whether Henri Lansbury will make the cut. Our midfield does look pretty barebones at the moment with only Song and Mikey as surefire starters. Rambo hasn't truly convinced anyone last season, and I am still very sceptical that we can depend on Tommy for a full season. His goals and assists numbers aren't exactly spectacular despite his midseasson rejuvenation.
