QUOTE(atreyuangel @ Jul 16 2012, 02:16 PM) Ok, was in the study room searching for old military record of my dad then I just realize that the rack do not have the glass no more (old design with glass door type). Then thing is there is a priceless car sticker on the glass. Nice find you got there. So both you and your dad are fans of the same team eh? Nice....So I asked my mom about it and she said that the glass has shattered some time ago while I was away and some of the glass was at the backyard. So this morning I went to the backyard and search for the glass and I found it. The sticker seems smiling at me. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 13 years and still good! |

QUOTE(smellyfish @ Jul 30 2012, 07:46 PM) Thanks for that evening entertainment! I remember in an interview someone said that Sagna is the best dancer among all Arsenal players. I can see that now. On the other hand, Podolski looks like really enjoying making a fool of himself. Simply love that attitude. |

Have some faith in our team. The league isn't a race, but a marathon.

This summer has got to be the best Arsenal's transfer market ever since Man City and Chelsea did a shopping spree a few seasons back. If that doesn't interpret as ambitious, I don't know what will. I can foresee a lot of us Gunners fans are really excited over seeing these marquee signings, but are probably a little afraid of gloating in front of the other teams. Still, I honestly can't wait for the season to start. If I were RVP/Walcott, I'd be shacking in my Nike boots over the decision to leave an unambitious club like the AFC. Its like all our latest signings are almost guaranteed first team appearance by their standards.
I know our last season weren't exactly the best results we had hoped for, but we turned out wayy better than some of our 'fake' fans would like us to believe. To Casanova and Beandy, wherever you are....do remember this day and this coming season that glory will always come to those who are loyal and supportive of their team regardless of how low we went without winning any cups. And the team isn't done yet, since we haven't even started. So sit tight and enjoy the rest of the coming matches. I know for sure I will. |

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Aug 11 2012, 02:34 AM) still to early to enjoy we must watch the first 4 match to predict the outcome first My bet is on Podolski to make a major impact this season. Giroud may need some adjustment to the EPL and Cazorla may need to get used to Arsenal's style of play, but I sense Podolski will hit the ground running. i dont care if RVP want to leave or not because we already find a replacement earlier not like last summer..... it take time for new player to adapt BPL but i hope Per, Gervinho will improve this season |

Hmmm...got a point there. So we're pretty much set and ready to go into the new season. Just hope our defence won't buckle up. Song will be a great loss if he does indeed go. I just hate to see him warming up the bench in Barcelona.

QUOTE(HateFakers @ Aug 11 2012, 12:02 PM) I think we should stop comparing Chamakh to Giroud. We are talking about an ordinary striker who scored goals in Ligue 1 and another who almost single-handedly led the underdogs Montpellier to their 1st league title in many many years. It's not fair to say he's like Chamakh purely because they're both from the french league and are tall. I mean, Giroud's has the looks too, right? I remember when we were first about Chamakh, someone said he was our poor man's Ronaldo. Almost the same height, face....but the hairdo....oh gawd. But still, I loved his first season with us. He gave us a different dimension up front because our crosses were often decent but never attached to any decent header. I recall mostly ow he always earn us freekicks and a few penalties thanks to his footwork control and possession. But after RVP returned to fitness, his first touch became horrendous and his positional play always makes me feel like he has no interest in attacking the opponoent's goal. Perhaps over relying to RVP affects a lot of our second string attackers, but even in the lower level competitions, he never impressed Arsene. Of course, the good thing is that we had him for free and I think his wage isn't too big. I just hope given a chnce he can ply is trade somewhere else and regain his touch. Arsenal just don't have the luxury of time waiting for him anymore. |

Carlos Vela confirmed leaving for Real sociedad
QUOTE Goodbye Mr. chips After weeks with their fingers hovering over the publish button, the team at Arsenal.com have finally confirmed that Carlos Vela has left the club. The Mexican international, who signed for the Gunners way back in 2005, has signed a permanent deal with La Liga side Real Sociedad for whom he impressed on loan last season. Tipped for big things when he arrived at the Emirates (Highbury?) the 23-year-old only managed to squeeze in 63 appearances for the Gunners betwixt spells with Salamanca, Osasuna, West Bromwich Albion and his new employers. A player of undoubted skill, he struggled to ever make a serious impression on the first team although his canny chipping skills did excite the crowds during numerous Carling Cup cameos. The occasional dinked finish aside, he’s likely to be more remembered for his disciplinary problems at international level (partying with vice girls and transsexuals anybody?) and for causing a swine flu scare at London Colney back in 2009. Arseblog News wishes him the best with his career in Spain. source Feels good to finally offload dead weights. Next is Squllaci. This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Aug 11 2012, 10:56 PM |

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Aug 12 2012, 08:03 AM) http://player.arsenal.com/player/2348-cazorla-in-training Good observation. I see what you mean. Walcott always lack a decent pass to his penetrating runs. If Cazorla the key to his form, then I won't be surprise next season Walcott be a top scorer for Arsenal....provided that he keep his head in the game.after watching this... i can say that we still need walcott... because cazorla is player who got vision who can abuse walcott pace and help walcott to create more chances for the striker or even score a goal |

Yup, almost everyone is playing free role. I just watched the game, finding it quite hard to identify our players. Its totally a different team as if. Obviously Walcott is trying to prove something. I suppose with all the quality signings, he must be worried about his position.

QUOTE(jonathan1986 @ Aug 13 2012, 12:38 AM) Gervinho's pass but NO ONE in the box to receive it or at least stand in the right position!! Zz At least he didn't slow down the play with his poor dribbles. Significant improvement to Diably 2010. Of course, he needs to prove he is capable of dictating play and distribute the passes perfectly. I too doubt he'll be able to knock off Carzola or Arteta in the pecking order, but his position in the reserves will be secured. Added on August 13, 2012, 12:39 amAW has a lot of faith in Diaby.. I had seen glimpses of Diaby being good, but Cazorla is mile better.. |

QUOTE(HateFakers @ Aug 13 2012, 12:58 AM) I see RVP being very important if we were to go for all competitions. While Podolski and Giroud have been impressive in today's game, I don't see Chamakh filling even the defenders boots should the former carry any injuries(touchwood). RVP-Giroud-Podolski in rotation will definitely bring us far. Yup, he's a class above the rest. His touches and passes are simply good. |
