how u guys do connection at the back of TV... currently my BLURAY player HDMI connected to HDMI 1(ARC)...
then my ASTRO BEYOND NON HD connected to IN AV SINGLE CABLE where downstream connected to audio video cable coming from decoder...
so what is that COMPONENT for, and also OUT OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO...

my concern is if i have ASTRO BEYOND HD, just plug the HDMI cable on HDMI 2 will do ? i can able to see picture and hear sound ? its suppose right.. because only HDMI 1 says ARC...

Yes...if u do have Astro Beyond HD u can plug in any HDMI input. It doesnt matter because HDMI cable carry both audio and video. Optical Digital Audio out is used if u have optical digital cable....so u can enjoy digital sound frm your tv. Usually used if your speaker system doesnt have HDMI input. For example: Astro Beyond HD connect to TV via HDMI....and then TV connect to speaker system via optical cable. From my understanding la....correct me if im wrong guys

actually there r few ways...

1) from tv, connect 1 hdmi to astro beyond, 1 optical cable connect to av receiver aka amplifier.

2) from tv, connect 1 hdmi cable to av receiver aka amplifier, another hdmi cable from av receiver to astro beyond.

3) from tv, connect 1 hdmi cable to astro beyond, 1 rca cable to av receiver aka amplifier.

so u hav afew options, see which 1 is convinient 2 u...

Went to a shop in Ipoh to buy LG 47LA7400. Quoted the price around RM3500 but I need to wait 3 weeks for delivery because no stock at KL dealer.

Happy dont have ready stock for 47", i placed order by Friday and i have my TV delivered by Tuesday (Saturday & Sunday Off no delivery), Rm3400.00, so far very satisfied with the TV.

if your area receiption is bad, then use unifi. but pls make sure u hav banned astro.

They didn't specifically mention LCD refresh, so it's an open statement it can also meant led refresh.

It's LCD refresh reference lm6700 a trumotion 120hz as 60hz has been verified by cnet test and as we'll as official response from lg.

MCI is nothing more than phony numbers referring to "scene per second" or "SIMULATED refresh rate" using backlight blinking method, generated using pulse width modulation at low frequency.

It's like this 100 refresh + 100 blank frames double up frame repeat (another blank frame insertion) to 400. So it's 100+100 x 2 = 400.

50hz or 60hz is region dependent, or tuner specific.

go for unifi u can watch on9, download on9... but astro just watch & u oredi need to pay rm150 + somemore u need to pay more if u need to add channel or package.

but still, the picture quality still better than alot of other brand tv.

All it needs is a very simple test.

Just view the lots of HDTV from side angle. IPS will stand out above the rest. IPS is the only thing in the market other than plasma that could resist color shift.

A low end LG can anytime out-do Samsung Series 7 when viewed off angle, just view them from the side slightly the IPS will stand-out-loud.
