Haven't got time to test out anything yet

I can't try MHL cause I don't have the adapter for my phone and neither do I have a 3.5" >1TB HDD.

As for miracast, I'll find out if it works with my Nexus 10....

Looks like I'll have to wait for Jelly Bean 4.3 to be available first before I can try Miracast out, which should be released OTA anytime soon...

Gotten OTA update to Jelly Bean 4.3 this morning, tested miracast and it works wonderfully.

Been using it for a week or so but haven't really got time to test it out fully... this is what i can say at the moment.

Picture quality is decent and black level is good (much better than my 6yr old Sammy CCFL LCD) however I noticed vertical banding does exist on the LA7400 series and it's noticeable during panning. Minimal spotlighting when the screen is completely black.

I used this youtube link for VB and DSE test.

Has anyone got irritated by the vertical banding/DSE with their 7400? I can't help but keep noticing that every time there's panning scene.. Never had issues with my old CCFL LCD!

Bro, have you or anyone else in this forum have tried connecting your mobile through NFC or MIRACST? Well, it works fine as a TV remote and all but I think my phone SAMSUNG doesn't support 2nd display functionality on TV. I don't know...does this mean that it works as 2nd display only through LG mobile? Any of us here have faced the same issue? Appreciates responses. Thanks guys.

Miracast works with my Nexus 10 with Android 4.3 but not 2nd display, otherwise Youtube Leanback should work with other mobile phone as well.

Yes, it've tried streaming video from azdrama.sx using the browser and it works.

Yes, the vertical banding issue on my unit is quite obvious, not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same.

I'm having the same problem, called LG before and they sent engineer to check but can't do anything about it. How serious is yours?

Go YouTube and watch the banding DSE test video to see how bad the issue is.

It's not because of that, it's due to HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is in place preventing the recording over HDMI to work.
