Hi, would like to check with all block C buyers here, is there a beam or pillar in the kitchen which separated the sink and hood area?
There was no pillar mentioned in the floor plan in brochure but the floor plan in Sdb website and also sales galley mock model did show a column in the kitchen. And two different SA actually gave us two different version of saying, one said there's a column yet another confirmed no column.

I've just placed the booking fees last week and is currently awaiting for the loan to approve. I've not dealt with any panel lawyers by SDB yet. However, I'm contented with the services provided by the SDB sales personnel. I would consider myself as a fussy customer and have raised enough inquiries to them and they have been courteous enough to reply me timely.

Having said that, I'll take note of the lawyer with the letter "V". Will post more update when I were to sign the SnP.

I've got 90% loan approved by CIMB at blr -2.4% for Block C. I was there last week and ironically, I was told by the HSBC personnel that they are funding for Block C as well.

To be honest, the reason I bought WOTP was because of the concept, whereby, I love to live in a place filled with greenaries and the ample space provided outdoor would also be an ideal place for the upbringing of my child in the near future. Not to be forgotten it is near to my parents house as well which is crucial.

This would be my first property and I'm slightly over mid 20's of age. I won't regard it as the best option in terms of price. But the concept of WOTP did play a crucial role in the decision making.

I seriously hope that once is built. The security, cleanliness and amenities are up to par. As we all know Malaysia ain't going to be safer.

I'm actually waiting for RHB's reply. Btw, does HSBC allows you to fund the MRTA into the loan?

No worries, as long as you're getting BLR -2.45, you're still in with a good deal.

How do u know? Never receive any mail or announcement from sdb on thier official fb...

During my purchase of the unit In Block C, I was informed by the SA that they will be releasing a 1685 unit in Block A as well. Apparently, the purchaser couldn't get 90% financing from the respective banks.

I received 3 invitation cards for the lion dance event today. If my RHB loan is secured, I'll be going there this weekend.

Where does ur unit located at Block C?how many sqft? How much did u pay ?
*
916sqf at RM650K. I had the thought of creating a FB page for WOTP owners but is bit premature. The FB page would dose off even before the construction is completed 3 years from now. It would be better to start with it once the foundation is all done and we can update it with pictures on a weekly basis.

The unit purchased is for my own stay rather than investment as this is my first property and I'm about to start a family.

I've purchased additional car park. To be honest, given the vast piece of land, I'm still clueless as to why the car parks offered were in tandem. Arghhh.

Is upper mid floor, corner unit. I do understand is very pricey, hence, my expectation of SDB workmanship/management are higher. I'm also working hard to achieve my goals 3 years from now given the current nature of my job. If everything goes as planned. I'll have a bit more flexibility in terms of financial spendings by then.

Btw, I was in contact with the people in HQ today, one of the staff was kind and honest enough to tell me that, there may be a slight delay for the completion of the project (1-2 months). When I raised my doubts on the ground work is still lacking behind. Reason given was they are building an earth quake resistant building, hence, more time is needed. LOL

Moving on, I did a quick survey on 5 stones in SS2, constructed by SDB. Although I wasn't allow to go in. But I was amazed by the end product.

So fast they told u will delay 1-2 months? Now just starting thier work, they so fast can jump into conclusion?
Anyway, thier expectation completion is end of Oct 2015.
Doing this earthquake resistant building is 1 of thier selling point too, this part they should have take into thier estimation time by right. smile.gif
*
Well, that's what they said, It may or may not be. I'm just updating it here by reporting what was told. Is up to everyone's guess. 5 Stones was delayed as well aren't they. But as an owner myself, I wouldn't want any of that happen as well.

With that price, it is very sayang if the building is not certified by Singapore BCA Green Mark like what Sunway did for their building. Since the park concept is so Eco-friendly, the developer shall do it then only can compete in long term appreciation.
*
The park is just a park, it doesn't provide any other form of renewable or sustainability in energy savings, water savings and etc.

"Under the assessment framework for new buildings, developers and design teams are encouraged to design and construct green, sustainable buildings which can promote energy savings, water savings, healthier indoor environments as well as the adoption of more extensive greenery for their projects. As for existing buildings, the building owners and operators are encouraged to meet their sustainable operations goals and to reduce adverse impacts of their buildings on the environment and occupant health over the entire building life"

The park could be the cooling factor of the building. By using the eco paint, the heat of the building can be reduced thus reduce the utility expenses of air cond. The water from the rain can be saved to water the plants inside the park. Use solar generated light at the park to reduce the electricity too.

The park is the selling point. However if to use high cost to maintain like park, long term residents will suffer. If no maintain the park then the condo value will be heavily affected.

To become green building may not necessary to be very expensive. Zefer hill may be example. They start selling at 400 Psf only.
*
The question is are they positioning WOTP to be an Eco friendly building? They could have use options that you have given above in making it Eco friendly, but I don't think WOTP is one of them for reasons only known to themselves. Their idea is solely to build a park around the building.

Their idea is to build a condo inside the park. They should position it as Eco-friendly building.

For whatever is worth, it Is their discretion. They had their idea, they build around it and we purchased it. Everyone has their own ideas on how a building should or should not be in terms of design/concepts/prices and beyond. For instance, yours being they should built an Eco friendly building, where else, for me I don't think it is necessary not because I'm least environmental but I don't see the point of it If only the building is Eco friendly but the public does not practice it.

Besides, I never believe that there's a property out there that suits anyone and everyone. But we purchase it wholeheartedly because it fits towards a certain extent on our preferences. Nevertheless, i think we have speak our minds and I'll just live it as it is.

That I don't know why someone said buy for 680k. Cause I double check with 2 SA there. Both of them also said highest is 610k only.
*
I don't think highest is 610K, I bought mine at 622K before I add in additional car park. Can't believe they are giving additional 18K of discounts. Is not fair for ussss.

Yes, its not fair to earlier buyer. If you have not sign the snp, u can make fun of them. Cancel the unit, forfeit 8k, then book again same unit to get back 18k. U still gain 10k haha...anyway, how many car park u bought?
*
That's exactly what I thought. Im planning to call my SA tomorrow and convey the same message. We should seriously group together and bring it up to them. This is discriminative.

My SA told me the offer of RM18K is only available for a week. Although they can't give me the same offer however they can give me some free gifts during the signing of SnP. Lol, I guess they are going to give me towels/mugs/stickers and etc.

Rontan_83 you can just call up your SA and inform them that you would like to purchase additional car park. You can either fund in into your loan or pay in full with cash/card. There will not be anymore available in block c. It will be situated in block a and it will be in tandem.

If that's the case , I will just park my car next to the main entrance guardhouse.
*
This would only happen on low cost apartments bro. Btw, from my understanding, they would build additional car parks around the compound of WOTP. Meaning it would be outdoor.

Just to update. I've managed to secure loans from both CIMB and RHB at -2.45.

Lolx, then I suggest you to park beside the guard house that would be safer though. Yes I did purchase additional car parks. Btw Block B would have the largest park around, we should all camp there and dilute their place. Hahahahahahah.

If you need any assistance I can call up my SA and inquire if there's any additional car parks still available.

I'll get back to you on Monday. You can park anywhere as long as is not around Block C. Lol.
