To be honest I'm not 100% happy wit nexus 7 after my speaker problems.

Shouldve continue use my tab 10.1
And save money for a high end tablet like tf300 or tf700

Nexus 7 like a time bomb.speaker anytime might spoil
Mine working perfectly for 28days then suddenly speaker spoil.

Even if after repair it may spoil again.haiz.

you got back your tablet from penang asus egate?
the gave you new one or change speaker for you?
check your serial number see same or not?

i strongly recommend against it.
the speaker may spoil again if too loud.
softer is better than totally cracked and muffled.

take note that speaker issue that people reported is not spoilt out of the box but happen over time.
even after fix may happen again.

bloody hell, why you no put spoiler when quote post with many big pictures.

actually the difference between JB and ICS is small compared to difference between ICS and HC.
in terms of ui smoothness

i send mine to lowyat service center today for warranty claim.

they took my tab and check. ask me to leave there for a week, next week come and claim back,

is speaker issue.

they got give you a number right?
call directly and refer your case.

i'm surprise they dont let me take it back, forced to keep it there,
they say come collect next week. i think you call and ask also la

i went there thought just want to report my case, and bring my tablet home while waiting them order speaker spare parts.

but they insist on keeping my tablet there, and say will ready in one week.

i'm not sure why they are so confident in one week.
maybe the parts are on the way there, probably we'll get ours in the same time.

cant check whether i have the issue u saying or not.

but honestly, this is a good tablet software wise. very fast fluid etc.
the fastest android experience ever.

but the hardware isn't really good.
cant really complain since its really cheap, even after paying extra its still cheaper than samsung tab2 7 that has inferior screen and processing power.

but poor asus have to rush this product in 4 months.
usually products gets 1 full year of development, this poor guy only have 1/3 of the time.

anyhow already buy it live with the small issues la.

people who complain screen lift, they should be glad thats the only problem they have,
its minor and does not affect the user experience of the device compared to other problems listed here

i use this widget, its 1x1 size, big and easy to see.

if you're using apex/nova launcher,
you can put this widget in dock,

its green when high power,
yellow when low power,
red when very low power,

and when charging is blue color,
very obvious and handy.

when you see the battery animation no longer moving, means its fully charge.

asus lowyat service center really accept and help repair. sent mine for repair already.

so its pointless to wait for the "official" release here.
technology gets old fast, buy things when straight release. enjoy them.
dont always wait wait wait. whatever you buy, it will be outdate in 1 year.
