@syaryel, what they did or replaced?

its FOC they replaced the LCD..tot need to argue 1st before can get replacement, kinda surprised it went smoothly ~ think only 10 minutes of chit chat and fill in the form..

What's wrong with you lcd?Coz I still have a bit of yellow tint and my soft button lights seems got beam flooding the screen. Which can see in black screen

goes blank..was in screen lock mode..suddenly cannot display..think d post picture on previous reply..feel free to browse for it..

mine also can see 2 light beam from both soft key light when the screen is black in the dark room.

think samsung got policy to replace LCD if got dead pixel on it (if not mistaken 5-6 suffice to claim new lcd)..anyway in your case not sure if its dead pixel or not..but read some article saying OLED screen kinda have issue if looking at it on dark / dim lightning..if you post picture would b great..mayb almost similar case to mine..

hahaha nvm~ i found out and confirmed that those non international version of s3 is MIC!! only international version is made in korea ~ now how to identify international and non? *googling*

anybody ever tried aluminium bump for s3 before? still thinking to buy casing.. almost 1 week still no casing.. any recomenddation for s3 casing? prefer non-flip case

The international version of the S3 is the i9300. That's the only version of the S3 that's being sold officially in Malaysia and it's split between being made in Vietnam and in Korea.

The US and Canada Versions of the S3 has a different model number and is not the i9300. The model number is shown on the back of the box.

not sure how he get it~ but i know he is from muar. Thats all i know

i9300T is basically specific to certain carriers in in certain countries like Australia, Thailand etc. that primarily uses the 850mhz networks. That version basically is the same as the international with slight modification to the modem. ROMs for the i9300 works on the i9300T.

Unless shops that has grey import stuff, all S3 in Malaysia are the i9300.

The US, Canada Japan versions etc. has totally different model numbers like SGH-T999, SGH-I747, SC-06D, SCH-R530, SGH-I535, SPH-L710 etc. with some noticeable difference in spec.
