when use, wifi on all the time. when sleep, i turn off wifi. but usually when sleep, i will leave the wifi on while charging cz i charge before sleep.

i get the 1% drop when I wanna test the standby time. i charge till full before sleep 99%, then wake up 98%, wifi off, data off.

depends on your area mobile signal strength thou.. weaker signal drains more battery..

day time on stand by usually drop 1~2% per hour, wifi on

normal usage like whatsapp or check facebook, then around 5~8% per hour.

1. Take a black photo by covering your palm over the camera, or google for a black image and download it
2. Find some place dark, or wait till night falls
3. Max your brightness
4. ??????
5. I am sure that you'll see those unwanted dots on most devices

hi,

want to check something i just discovered a few days back.

when in total darkness and in black screen, i notice the 2 touch screen button lights (the back and menu button lights) seems to flood into my screen (the 4.8 inch screen) above. it is like 2 very narrow beams that shines out from the base of the 4.8 inch screen. the light beam is very slight but noticeable.

is this normal?

Normally with JD aggressive mode , battery drop 10% to 12% in 8 hours with power saving mode off. With JD extreme mode with power saving mode off drop 8%. So it translate to around 1% to 1.5% per hour rate.i don't have any background update or sync. My goal is to achieve 0.5% per hour rate then will be perfect. No idea is it achievable or not.

if the stuttering occurs after u took new photos or transferred new pictures then it is normal bcz the media server is creating the small thumbnails for first use.

You guys are very good in finding those small small issues thumbup.gif

Enjoy your S3 instead. As long as it didn't affect the phone real functions.

Hi there, got my S3 on Sunday, been using it until now, so far so good, the phone is very responsive and very fast, but enabled mobile data and it generates heat a lot.

I've updated to latest software update and checked the phone with *#0*#, so far so good, what else do i need to do now?
