well google says a recovery run doesn't really help with recovery, but rather helps build stamina and fitness
i'm just a little concerned with running when the muscle's still sore, but i've been doing it already anyway lol
*
I run slow, wearing a Li Ning black Tee, complaining this and that haha..

I felt that recovery runs helps you to recover faster in your next run, let your muscle get used to recovery after post workout.

But personally i have not done it a single time, after long races, usually I am too lazy for that. I usually do recovery swim instead. Need Bukit Jalil Icy Cold pool for that haha..

Working in Running Lab ? I think he co-owns that place. I mean, he co-owns the franchise in Msia.... he used to hang around this forum, he was the previous TS, nickname Phoenix. I used to get running stuffs from him, before he opened his previous shop in Mutiara Damansara, then Running Lab.
*
oh.. he is one of the co-owner, coz I dealt with him when I bought my shoe..

I was replying to Jerry88 request on how to prolong his run, just an advice that might help him. Breathing is meant for pace control, probably not needed for frequent runner like you guys.
*
it's not that not needed, just that they have already practise to do it without notice

does wrong breathing method really affect ur run? since you guys brought that up, i also wanna tumpang asking...

normally i do 2 in 2 out... IMO, if i have steady breathing, i wont feel so easily feel tired during running....

is my method a correct 1? or it just depends on personal preference?
*
comfortable means it's good smile.gif

yesterday i ran some out of my normal pace, it feels so intense that i don't know how am I running at all haha..

I totally agree with your mention, Nike only want more youth get poison on their so call sport products. Honestly after I read the Born To Run books, strongly feel last time already cheat by so call Nike best running shoe!! doh.gif

Now I already change to BareFoot running style with Vibram Five Fingers Speed, feel no more knee pain & feel run more smooth. The feeling is so great!!  thumbup.gif

If I get the We Run KL 2012, I sure will wear the VFF run there, hehehehe.  brows.gif
*

Hey, just wondering...I maybe buying a bib from my colleague (female)  tongue.gif

As she's just in for the jersey  blink.gif  ...so I thought of maybe buying the Bib from her...

Nothing serious right if I run with female bib? no indicator that it's Female Bib right?

And don't worry, I'm not going to win anything nor am going to finish 10k in 40mins...laugh.gif
though aiming for 45-50mins~~  flex.gif

That's still too fast for female cat, u might 'accidentally' podium

266K,

I also plan to go there on race day, from Butterworth (I stay) to Taiping should not be that far.

All,

Anyone run Taiping before, is it really hilly? And asking all sifu, do we need hill training?

My main concern in PBIM in Nov, there are 2 big "hill" in the middle of the bridge.
*
There's like 2 small hump rather than hills haha

for those taking part in powerman or any triathlon, isit common practice to rent a bicycle fr local store?..or bring in their own bicycle?..
*
I think is better u own a bike, u need to know how ur bike works, characteristic, and sometimes troubleshooting. it's machine after all...

If you are able to rent one, make sure you rent one and practice with it
