If U read thru race instructions for all the races in Malaysia, 99% of the time they will say U have to wear the official vest. 99% of the time they dun dare enforce this. Only 1% (or rather, only one) of the race actually was smart enuff to print the race number on the race vest so that ppl will have to wear it no matter what. & tht one race is Nike 10K.

Thanks. I'll wear my usual shirt then. Size M singlet too sexy for me laugh.gif

Yesterday was my first time running (or should i say almost walking) up DPC Height. Totally different level of energy required and legs muscle.

After reaching the top, I can fell the pain already. Going down increases the pain further. Today, I've got muscle pain at the upper back leg near buttock. So i guess running on normal ground used different muscle than climbing up.

So I gotta practice this once in a while before Malakoff and ParkCity Run...

Wanted to find you guys but couldn't see any of you, anyway lucky the weather was on our side. It almost rained, but didn't.

This is my virgin 21km run / second event run. Compared to Nike, this event is way better organized.

Unfortunately my leg was not fully recovered. So I end up run limping most of my way and walked a lot. Timing was 3:15:19 (GPS). Not satisfied at all, but I enjoyed it anyhow. It was a good experience. I noticed some of the roads are slanting. Makes me feel not balance.

I'm also amazed by the support I got from the runners, patting my back and encouraging me to move on. It motivates me and no way I'm going to take ambulance back...

The reward, my first medal rclxms.gif earned through sweat and pain nod.gif

Yo, man. Seriously you are awesome!!!  thumbup.gif  Is great to hear that you got finish the run!! When I saw you run in limping  I`m worry about you, but you still keep going on!! This is great!! Never give up, this is our life!! Remember must take a recover before your next run.

By the way, my finish time also very slow at 2:45 hours (Distance show from my Endomondo App is 21.91KM). This is my 2nd HM with my leather version Huaraches. Honestly to tell that the leather strap is not suitable to use for huaraches, because it will stretch, It cause my almost jatuh twice when I run in 15 - 16km. I will try using the new poly rope to replace this leather strap and try in next run.

But the feeling is really great, feel very freedom in running. At the end I saw some of lyn runner with their special running lyn T. Hope I can purchase 1,  thumbup.gif

Congratulation to all of you who are finish the run!!  notworthy.gif

Thanks. Will take good rest. Next run will be 2 weeks later (Live Great Run).

You really like a Huaraches guy doing R&D, Modify, Test Run. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif Some more berani test run in 21km sweat.gif

Yes, brother. I really love the Minimalist Running with Huaraches, so I would like to share this to all of the runners. But before that I need to test kaw kaw about my Huaraches quality. I also surprise I can finish it with my 2nd half marathon. Same thinking like you, never give up before hit to finish line!!!

Unfortunately, the next run I will go CICM Responsible Care Run. Is the same date as you run Great Eastern, so we cannot run at same place.  sweat.gif Hope to see you again at Terry Fox Run 11/11/2012.  blush.gif

Not sure whether will make it for the Terry Fox Run. Will let you know if ging. Are you running Penang run?

Does anybody here use Colantotte wristband? Does it make any differenrce in your performance?

I used to wear these kind of Titanium / Magnetic thingi. The effect is kind of placebo / temporary. You will feel different initially but after sometime no diff.

So if you wanna wear it, only wear it during special events for the 'special' effect

wow auhckw, I see the races from your siggy, you are being hard on yourself, curious, your body can cope?

Kind of amazing for a beginner/intermediate runner to challenging 30KM in a short training period *Respect*
*
I'm mentally prepared, but my body isn't. My leg is not recovered yet as of today. I really hope I can recover on time to try the 30km. But I won't push it this time (unlike PNM). I have to be fit enough for the Penang run which is more important.
