If this is the case, why all shoes have so much cushioning on the heels?
I prefer they put cushioning on the forefoot. sad.gif

Tht's an age-old question nobody has the answer to ...

There are some shoes with forefoot cushioning, Newton of course, is the most prominent... Check out shoes models at Running Warehouse, they have detailed description on cushioning for each shoes...

It has been raining for the past few nights. Hope for dry weather this saturday night
*
Let's see... my office is just down the road from the starting line..

Monday : Rain
Tuesday : Rain
Wednesday : No rain
Thursday : Almost rain
Today : Dunno yet
Tomorrow : ?

If it rains, it helps if U rub some Vicks on Ur chest beforehand... helps with Ur breathing.. & it can block cold winds from the chest area... try it

This map is funny... it shows there are 3 Putra Mosque... there's only 1 Putra Mosque la... & there are only 2 mosques in the whole of Putrajaya...

For HMers, some course pointers:
1. There are 2 major climbs, 1 at PICC & another one at Lebuh Ehsan, after the Sri Bestari Bridge..I'd reckon it's at about KM18-19 like tht... it's part of my regular training route..
2. There's a long false flat, about 1.2km after the bridge at Lebuh Perdana Ehsan
3. After the climb at Lebuh Ehsan, it's pretty much all downhill & flats until the finish line
4. Be prepared for wet weather...it's been raining almost every night here in Putrajaya

done via RA. might not 100% accurate (20.57K rather than 21.0975K), but at least got elevation n mileage marks.[attachmentid=3109461]
*
So... my prediction was close enuff la... the climb at Wisma Putra is between KM16-17... only 1km off... without using any topo map or instrumentation... flex.gif

oraginizer provide powerbar or something for full marathon... where to get it...

power bar = snickers no?
*
U get it when U pick up Ur racekit. If Powerbar = snickers then nobody will buy Powerbar, or any other energy bar for tht matter. Why dun U bring/eat snickers in Ur next HM or FM or whatever M Ur running & tell us about it.

Just curious, if DNF at Putrajaya... how to go back to the finishing line (car park)?
*
Depends on where U stop lh... Putrajaya roads can be very confusing & the signboards are very misleading... after 6 years working in Putrajaya, I still get lost sometimes.... & the worst thing is that, once U miss a turn or a junction, there's no way to turn around..without getting lost again... tongue.gif

hi....

nope..we are not 50s...we are both 28..

precisely why i want to consider supplement is because we don't want the constant running/pressure to affect our joint in a bad way and make us suffer during old age...

let's say it's just for precaution  smile.gif
*
Those ppl in the 50s & needed supplements for their joints, I bet they weren't runners when they were young...
