anyway without NV my gf is 153% and mf is 45%

got about 180% GF and 70% MF without NV.

Sometimes it is so frustating to get all the crap stuff. I swear i never got a single good stuff in my entire D3 playtime lul..

that's why i went for gf instead of mf. then i play gem creation. for fun.

sometime GF & MF very high but keep getting junk, but some fellow come in as zero mf can get goos rare even set or legendary..sighh

my MF is 11% GF 12% chii think...
so any takers for 47k dps ? chii think might be interesting to see the drop rate become how....

played through act2.. get a few lvl63 items but all junk

what do you guys think about MF build vs GF build?

in GF build, I find that 0% vs 100% to 200%++ range shows marked difference in gold collection.

what about MF build? going by the response so far, doesn't seem good. i get pretty decent stuff from time to time with ~100% MF (after NV)

gold is steady. however, unless you're going to bot/cheat, gf is just a lost cause. i mean, how much can you earn per hour? how much it cost on the AH for good items/upgrades? the way its going, its as if you're working/slaving for the game as opposed to playing it!

MF on the other hand, most people claim its worse because it only affect how many magical (be it blue/rare/legendary) drops. it doesn't affect what stats it roll, and what ilevel it rolls. theoretically, high mf may yield better quality loots, because you get more loots.

personally, i go with neither gf/mf these days, just 5 stack NV. i go with full dps gear, clear ASAP and as safe as possible. minimize death (anything more than 2-3 death or long run back from check point = failed run) and finish a 5NV Warden > butcher run within 15-20mins, and earn between 50-100k gold per run.

drops, nothing spectacular, however i have gotten legendaries (just got one just now, lol rubbish 300 dps monk fist, require level 57 ) and even gear upgrades/sale for AH/gift to friends etc etc
i finish the run asap, try to break previous records in both runs and how fast i dominate the bosses (killing warden in ONE 7SS burst including enchantress 15% erosion. thats less than 3-5 seconds btw ), and most importantly, i am having fun seeing bigger and bigger numbers popping out while i can do more retarded/lazy shits such as standing in fire/lasers

Poor fellas like me go for gf% to get decent money for gears to get mf% for inferno.

Was playing around with various builds, I think may end up just going with what you mentioned. My gf / mf build just lousy in dps.

actually I starting to agree... finish runs faster by having higher dps may be more worth it

I think just get items with slight mf instead of full mf is more viable taking into consideration max mf with godly stats are just too expensive... if not wrong there's diminishing returns as mf% gets higher too...

My MF rely solely on NV, which is 75% iirc. So yeah would like to join an Inferno run on Act 1.

I notice if you be very patient in farming act 1. (like, tried every area) u can get many lvl63 items. but chances to get godly one are low. For me i got it 3 times, a 1k++dmg 2H axe, a 900dmg 1H hammer and a 900+ rare crossbow.

at the end, still got to look in AH...

I MF farm Act 1 Inferno. Doing a full elite run takes me about 50 minutes, and with 224% base MF, I normally end up with slightly more than a full stash page of rares.

However as you all would undoubtedly know, 95% (or more) of these are utter rubbish and only good for vendoring or salvage.

Still searching for that elusive dice roll that will give me a 100million gold item lol!

Switch to GF% farm act 3 hell.
Switch to MF% farm act 1 inferno, try to minimise gg.com.
Switch to full gear try to push act 2 inferno -> act 3 -> act 4.

Rinse and repeat.

what is NV?

You'll know it when you touch lvl 60.

Nephalem Valor, it activates everytime you killed a group of elites/champions when you reach level 60.
