oW so the old characters can only be transferred after 6 months? whats the difference between the old FFXIV and the new FFXIV ARR?

There are fresh servers whereby old characters are forbidden to enter at early launch. You can start in these new servers.

Try out FFXIV ARR open beta. If you like FFXIV ARR, then you play it. If you dislike it, then you quit it. There is no need to know about old FFXIV. Like what Shojikun has mentioned, FFXIV ARR is recreated from its foundation, it's a new game. I am lazy to list out the differences one by one. *escape*

I don't think there's any issue if you're looking for digital version other than physical box which rely more on local supplier/seller. For SE site, it blocked even before I want to add into basket lol. Btw I didn't use any proxy/VPN stuff on GMG. My purpose would be getting the key from GMG then I just key into my SE ID.

why dont take physical CE theres extra stuff like art books , OST lol.

GMG distribute EU code. NA code not available to purchase to us.

erm i dun c ur point quoting that link for me. coz its state "Unfortunately this product is not yet available in your region. Please check our FAQ for more details." incase u miss it. hence, the only way to get NA version from GMG is by passing using proxy and this is risky

i am seeing alot of ppl here prefer EU instead of US version...is there any big different? i tot despite of the region, we will be able to play on the same server? or EU monthly is cheaper compare to US?
