Saw a VR kit sold at one shop but didn't have the chance to buy it, don't have enough money and it is the freaking first Temjin.

I always love to play Vitual-On games like the first release and the MARZ series.

QUOTE(Parody @ Aug 3 2010, 11:38 PM) All Hasegawa's kits need plastic cement and/or suffer from those weird joints? TimeMachine only jack up prices on kit alot of people wants. You know what it's like with VO here. The price are actually normal. I think Fei is just around RM120-ish IIRC, or less. But yeah, so far the Temjin, Fei-Yen, Hatter I had all have the weird joints. Guara is saved from that because her arms is too small TimeMachine -- you know la... |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 4 2010, 12:31 AM) So far I still think the old VO models from Wave are the best in term of playability and assembly, almost early Bandai quality. Heck they even have a working laser mechanism for Raiden. Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.Got any pictures or video on the Raiden's working laser mechanism? |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 07:39 PM) You pro modeller or just OOB? Hmm did you check Gamers Arena beside Graffiti? They have all Kotobukiya VO kits except FeiYen Kn IIRC. Bought my DNA Raiden from there, but yet to assemble Hagesawa kits generally has small parts, molded in flat single pieces, so painting is required, not to mention their crazy water decals. So far this line focus on VO Force and Marz VRs. Recommendation: Temjin 747a8 White Knight (Very hard to find tho) Temjin 747 Shadow ver. (even harder to find) Any female VRs Kotobukiya kits, on the other hand, are just like the SRW kits; molded with parts of different colors separated, comes with dry-transfer decals, very little painting needed for OOB build. This line focus on OMG and VOOT VRs. Specineff(has very sharp claws!) and Fei-Yen are both cool. Raiden is kinda clunky, but very easy to find (IIRC XL Shop/Time Machine both still have the RNA version) But seriously, I've been on this forums for quite some time and I never knew we have a VO thread, lol |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 21 2010, 06:58 PM) Sweet! I hope the colored parts aren't decals. QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 21 2010, 06:58 PM) LOL. Very nice work, man. The colors suit the mech design. |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Nov 22 2010, 09:17 AM) Was there one in VOOT? Can't really remember how it looks like... QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 22 2010, 11:05 AM) Parts are molded in the pink/purple/white, grey joints and the clear parts. So all those blue details are decals. Just the blue ones eh? Not so bad then. |

QUOTE(Parody @ Nov 22 2010, 07:21 PM) It's Cypher in VOOT.![]() I would buy 2 for sure, the designs in VOOT are so much win. Force and Marz are generally ok, but they are either too polygonal, or covered in messy details. This post has been edited by guarayakha: Nov 22 2010, 08:42 PM |

QUOTE(Parody @ Nov 23 2010, 12:51 AM) Ah... yes. Cypher. Now i remember. I wish I knew of such a site. The only other VO-related site I go to is oratan.com, which is also a discussion forum You guys got any nice sites to share where they have a list of all the VO mechas and pictures with it? Used to have one site of my own when I was really crazy about VO, but I'm not sure if it's down, or just me on a bad connection. Try to see if you can access it or something, haha. MSBS Omega Funnily enough, the older version is still up after all these years (10 years?LOL). Pardon the weird arrangements and text sizes though, it was made in the 320x240 days afterall *oh hey, the 2 mp3 links in the mutilmedia section is still working! MSBS X2 Imma gonna go bask in nolstagia now |
