QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 07:39 PM) Something in between QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 07:39 PM) Hagesawa kits generally has small parts, molded in flat single pieces, so painting is required, not to mention their crazy water decals. So far this line focus on VO Force and Marz VRs. Kotobukiya kits, on the other hand, are just like the SRW kits; molded with parts of different colors separated, comes with dry-transfer decals, very little painting needed for OOB build. This line focus on OMG and VOOT VRs. Specineff(has very sharp claws!) and Fei-Yen are both cool. Raiden is kinda clunky, but very easy to find (IIRC XL Shop/Time Machine both still have the RNA version) Ahh... yes. The crazy amount of water decals. I heard that a lot. But it looks so nice after they're put on. I definitely prefer Hasegawa's Temjin over Kotobukiya's bland version. I think i still see Raiden II and Viper II around, but aren't really interested in those two. If (and that's a really BIG "if") i can find Fei-Yen, would you recommend me getting the Hasegawa version or Kotobukiya's? Not judging by the looks, but rather on the quality and articulation? QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 07:39 PM) Recommendation: Temjin 747a8 White Knight (Very hard to find tho) Temjin 747 Shadow ver. (even harder to find) Any female VRs Yup, the White Knight is very cool indeed. Temjin Firefly is not so bad either. But what's really got me kicking is Apharmed The Hatter QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 07:39 PM) But seriously, I've been on this forums for quite some time and I never knew we have a VO thread, lol It's left to rot at the back pages til i dug it up... Thanks for the valuable information, dude. |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 10:00 PM) The skirt pieces on the Hagesawa's Fei requires plastic cement to properly hold them in place, and she has 3 tiny pieces glued into 1 for her elbow joint..Yikes. All Hasegawa's kits need plastic cement and/or suffer from those weird joints? QUOTE(guarayakha @ Aug 3 2010, 10:00 PM) I'd like this as well. QUOTE(KyoLee @ Aug 3 2010, 10:25 PM) i must said the parts is small and crazy decal What the-- QUOTE(KyoLee @ Aug 3 2010, 11:09 PM) TimeMachine -- you know la... |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Aug 4 2010, 09:51 AM) Hmm did you check Gamers Arena beside Graffiti? They have all Kotobukiya VO kits except FeiYen Kn IIRC. Bought my DNA Raiden from there, but yet to assemble I just noticed the Raiden II box is darn huge. This post has been edited by Parody: Sep 1 2010, 06:09 PM |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 21 2010, 06:58 PM) Sweet! I hope the colored parts aren't decals. QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 21 2010, 06:58 PM) LOL. Very nice work, man. The colors suit the mech design. |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Nov 22 2010, 09:17 AM) Was there one in VOOT? Can't really remember how it looks like... QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 22 2010, 11:05 AM) Parts are molded in the pink/purple/white, grey joints and the clear parts. So all those blue details are decals. Just the blue ones eh? Not so bad then. |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Nov 24 2010, 12:47 AM) Used to have one site of my own when I was really crazy about VO, but I'm not sure if it's down, or just me on a bad connection. Try to see if you can access it or something, haha. MSBS Omega MSBS X2 Can tell you're crazy about them from your LYN username I can't access the first site as well. The second one was very detailed, straight down to the reviews of each Virtuaroids. Thanks for sharing. |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Jan 21 2011, 11:36 PM) Anyone manage to get that Myzr? According to HobbyJapan, it was released in December , while most online stores list it as mid-end January. Haven't even seen one in our local stores. QUOTE(guarayakha @ Jan 22 2011, 01:25 AM) Oh not sure if you guys are interested, but VO:Force is already out on the X360. AI Jag spams infinite CW lasers alot I don't own an X360. Last one i played was Marz on PS2. Man, that game had very long loading times. |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jan 27 2011, 06:07 PM) On the contrary, I'm pretty sure their staff will make sure there's nothing "wrong" with the figures; well they're not as lax as ppl in M'sia True. But there's a crazy chance some dude did this to the stuff before: NSFW » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And the thought of that alone irks me eventhough it's clean now. |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Jan 31 2011, 05:31 PM) I can't imagine Temjin with blue hair and a long scarf. QUOTE(guarayakha @ Jan 31 2011, 11:53 PM) So far my only Kaiyodo VO casualty is Cypher; broken ankle out of box(that was like, 7 years ago i think), then only recently his spine snaps. Now resting in 2 pieces. QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jan 31 2011, 11:55 PM) Haha for my Cypher, one of the peg on the wing broke before, but repaired with a metal pin. My Temjin and Apharmd both have broken joints now Kaiyodo's action figures are so fragile? Or are you guys particularly rough? |

QUOTE(guarayakha @ Feb 1 2011, 08:20 PM) Next time, if you want to bump the thread, after clicking ADD REPLY, check the "Do Not Combine With Last Post" option. That should do the trick. And yeah, i filled the survey already. Thanks for the notice. |
