For rooted phone the best way is manually download the firmware from Sammobile then flash it via MobileOdin with Everroot section all enable.

- download the firmware from Sammobile.
- extract the files to  .tar.md5
- put to  .tar.md5 into your phone
- open MobileOdin Pro.
- press Open files...
- put the  .tar.md5 files
- enable/tick all three in Everroot section (enable by default)
- flash firmware

finally flashed the new firmware using mobileodin pro

no hassle at all and you keep your root + settings, apps and files

totally recommend to buy the pro version, it may cost USD 5 but its very worth it

I'm looking for one too... I'm driving a small car and all i have to place my phone is my pocket.
The side door compartment is not suitable as it will keep on knocking left and right due to the thinness and height.

These few car holders looks good...
