LOL, THE GPU WILL THROTTLE at 815mhz..

1. It not bullshit... this had been discuss in ROG forum. i know tat the temp can be consider as normal but one had re-paste the heat sink then then temp drop at least 15 degree...so this is what i'm consider
2.BSOD...happen on some user and i din said all...

1. The temp of course.. after repasting with better thermal compound will drop down the temp.. it's like saying.. using stock ram > high performance ram.. u can't do that...
2. BSOD shit happens everywhere.. each and every laptop has that. it's only up to ur luck.. .. and hopefully there is a solution  (shit happens especially when using SSD.. )
3. Yep one of our members here experience the CTRL key tear off.. that shit happens 1 out of 20 so far.. (i'm basing my statistic very roughly.. )
4. You may repaste... ask ur reseller if he can help u with the warranty issue... most of the reseller are just reseller .. they can't help u with the warranty. they will redirect u to asus service center which in turn will turn their heads away from u because u violated their T&C.. this is where u wanna pick the correct reseller which could help u even with the warranty issue (i found one lol.)
5. Regarding the bad after sales service... Yeah they suck no doubt about it. but we cannot accuse them 100% because some customer claimed that asus service center is quite reliable. (depends on where u are) but overall.. u want a good after sales service? get DELL.. wanna go gaming? ALIENWARE! and fork out extra 2k for the same spec as asus..
6. yep this one is software problem... i also experience this stupid thing.. after sleep or hibernate.. keyboard light won't turned on.. except reboot..
7. and the brightness also.. =.= really cannot say anything.. but .. no biggy u can always adjust it.. don't be too lazy

That Asus hasn’t enabled Optimus is unfortunate, since the battery would no doubt have lasted longer if the laptop had been able to utilize the graphics part of the processor. Gaming is not possible when running on battery power anyway, due to automatic clock speed reductions in the GTX 660M.

do let me know which sata u're going to take.. and after u get it .. let me know also if it works fine with the G55 or will BSOD.. lol

I guess you're right. Service center will definitely take me some time but I just hope it's something quick like cable replacement, etc.

I'm using Crucial M4 btw and it is very fast. I suggest you try getting that one.

about rm 1k  for 480 GB,  but need pay the postage that from US to Malaysia~~
