how to you run dual channel?1 in user friendly slot and another 1 is not user friendly slot

Hi everyone. I'm a new proud owner of g55. Like everything of it except the boot up speed for windows 7. It takes me 1 min and 10 second for windows to finish loading lor.

Been reading a lot on a clean re install will helps to boot up faster. Is it recommended and safe to do so? And I hear the original windows 7 cd key is pasted on the back of our laptop ? Is there any place I can download original windows that is for our asus g55? And what about the asus g55 drivers?

This is my first time owning a note book. Hope you guys can advise me. Thanks!

That's what ur refering? The front compartment should allow you to put your adapter and 500ml mineral bottle. My Office laptop backpack is even worse than this bag.

yup cauze the G55 got one small and one big fan and according to ROG forum that sheet thing is to protect the battery...    cauze G75 got 2 huge fans while we got one small one...

i dunno bro i just read it there, but i think it it just to cover the battery cauze the battery is just right beside that fan...

Sorry to break ur reasons, but no.3 is not a valid statement.

if you want to upgrade the processor, i have a bad news for you man..our dear beast can support only:

Intel® Core™ i7 3720QM Processor
Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM Processor
Intel® Core™ i5 3210M Processor

higher than the 3720 cannot support..so the rams also no use at 1866mhz because it will work AT 1600mhz only ....3820qm is a no no for the g55

furthermore, 3820 also can support only 1600 and 1333mhz only...you can check at the intel page...3920xm also the same..so no intel processor at the moment can support 1866mhz memory and anyways, both the 3820 and 3920 cannot put in the g55. ..
