1) After playing through some of the classes, the best classes in my opinion (in the following order)

1. Outlander (best DPS in the game)
2. Embermage (best AOE dps)
3. Berserker (nice damage, however have low survivability)
3. Engineer (tie with Berserker, decent damage but high survivabilty, haven't really tried engineer yet)

2) The game is very generous with drops, quite often you will come across rares which are useful. My shared stash is full of mysterious loot

3) I found rares that you could upgrade if you meet certain requirements. Example: The Emperor's Wrath (weapon is upgradable if you kill 20 goblins).

Embermage is better AOE dps overall. Outlander has the best dps hands down. Was doing 1k+ crits and I kill bosses in seconds

Hopefully before Half Life 2 Episode 3

Wondering if maps in Torchlight 2 will be like this too?

Speaking of which, the mod I want most for TL2 is a realistic water shader mod

Engineer with Gunbot is FREAKING OVERPOWERED!
Honestly after trying out all 4 classes, gotta say I am a bit undecided because all four classes are super super awesome
Anyways, can't wait for the game to come out

There's a consumables tab for potions, scrolls and fish. And you can put potions into any of the hotkeys 1-0, but you can use the best potion available by pressing either Z (HP potion) or X (MP potion)

Those aren't skill trees, more like skill page unlocked by level and separated by tabs and it is from top to bottom

Skill Tree (you need to put points into a certain tree or talent to unlock further talents)


Torchlight 2 Skill System
- You don't have to put points to unlock talents, they become unlocked once you reach the appropriate level, meaning I can just level and put 1 point to get the ultimate talent without having to spend points into the talents before that
- Every 5 points you spend, you get a perk to the ability (e.g. Magma Spear, if you put 5 points into the skill, Magma Spear will split into 2 projectiles, put 10 points, it will split into 3 projectiles, put 15 points, it will split into 4 projectiles and so on)
