QUOTE(Cossie1971 @ Mar 24 2014, 09:02 AM) I am told by my friend who is the buyer for an Aster Grove 3 storey unit that Sime has written to the buyers on 17th March informing them of changes to the design, involving the backyard (deleted a gate), 3rd floor facade (added a roof support column) and the car park roof (deleted glass slots). Do u know if there is any change to 2 storey Aster Grove Phase 1?These are significant changes to the aesthetics, and the letter comes with revised drawings from the consultant architect. There is also a 14 day time frame to reply if you have queries to the redesign. Has anyone encountered this experience, and would it be possible to object to the design changes or perhaps seek compensation since its quite a significant deviation from the SPA design, especially the facade and the roof. In fact, its already done and built up as the units are almost completed. Appreciate any advise, thanks |

QUOTE(Feelmore @ Mar 26 2014, 10:29 AM) Hi, Soph? Are you also an owner of Aster Grove 2 storey? Do you know when are we getting the key? And would you like to cooperate with other owners to establish a gated community at J11 phase? Thank you. Yes, but i wont be residing there as am based overseas. Nonetheless, i'm supportive of a gated community do keep me in the loop As for key collection, no news from SDB yet right. Last i called, they said it will be around mid April. do keep me posted as i have no access to physical mails from SDB |

QUOTE(Feelmore @ Mar 27 2014, 11:35 AM) Hahaha resale value for AG is not very attractive at the moment, better to keep first as i forsee many will sell upon CF as phase 1 was on DIBS. Those flippers will sell to avoid servicing loan. My two cents worth |

I was told keys will be available for collection from 16th of June onwards depending on final settlement from your bank. I made my appointment on the 26th already.
On the design modification, i called the customer service couple of weeks back they said its only for the 3 storeys. Is that true? QUOTE(Cossie1971 @ Jun 5 2014, 12:05 PM) Does anyone know when Aster Grove units will be delivered. and did anyone get a reply for the objections to the design modifications made at the last minute by the developer? I am wondering if they hv resolved that or will have to compensate buyers? This post has been edited by soph: Jun 5 2014, 01:56 PM |

Hi, yes just collected last thursday. The whole process was a breeze but i have not check on the defects, just went thru the checklist with SDB rep and pad-locked the place. Overall, it looks good! Way better quality than fern lane, i don't see any obvious defects and i love the wide layout! Only complain is the wet kitchen looks small.
QUOTE(Feelmore @ Jun 26 2014, 10:41 PM) Hello Soph! Did you collect your house key today for your Aster Grove? How was it? Good experience? When will you be moving in? I'm still waiting for my VP / key collection letter from SD. So far no news yet. I will call them tomorrow to ask for any progress on my part. Please share your experience. Thank you. |

Hi,
Any Aster grove owners here? Can share the common defects found? I have yet to check my unit as am based in overseas. Getting worried after looking at the long list of defects found in Saffron Hill (tho a diff phase but i guess its the same contractor, no?). Advisable to get a professional inspector to check?? Roughly how much would that cost? This post has been edited by soph: Feb 20 2015, 10:52 PM |
