As far as I know, only Machines chain of stores have display units. None at MacStudio. And I've not checked Pavilion's EpiCenter yet.

As far as I know, it has always been that way. Machines seems to get everything first as compared to MacStudio. One of the reasons I usually head out to Midvalley if I wanted to play around and test Apple's latest and greatest. And the beauty is, the staff knows full well not to disturb people testing out the Machines.Well, unless idiots try to do drop test of course. On another note, the staff also will layan you if you call an enquire about what stock is available. This post has been edited by mfitri77: Jun 19 2012, 03:55 PM |

Pretty darn annoying. That is for Machines' staff. I find Epicentre staff best, coz they don't bother bout you at all. LOL which is great.Well, unless idiots try to do drop test of course. DDR1600 is still quite rare in the market, even for desktop. And another thing, asking for a RAM upgrade at an Apple Store is madness in itself. |

As a CONSUMER can't i really have my purchasing is compatible to the standard spec, if someone sell you something that are older version and you still need to pay the same amount, will you? There is no wrong to try if they do have the upgrading service and even i know we need to purchase online if want upgrade spec... |

I guess there is one drawback to owning a MBP RD: I can't read my Mail, FaceBook and Twitter in private anymore. The screen is visible from far away!
Privacy filter time? but that'll degrade the screen gorgeousness...... |

I see. Well I don't think we have to wait 3 weeks. I think 2 weeks are most likely. This is still a 7k laptop we're talking about, not iPhone. 3-4 weeks are worst case scenario I reckon.
