Damn easy one, just follow step by step. Make sure you go to a good internet connection place to download the update because I bet the file size will easily be Gigs size, but best part of Apple is that all download is resume-able hehehe

Is that MBA 11 (2012) can upgrade from 4GB RM to 8GB? If can, how much and who can provide service?

I have decided to get the base Retina MBP instead of getting the 13-inch model for my engineering studies  
I'm wondering though, since I'm new to this, what's the difference between purchasing from traders and purchasing online straight from Apple? I don't mind waiting 1-2 weeks, but seeing some traders have stock, why not? 
Enlighten me please

wasted time to look for it 

I bought a Macbook Pro with retina display through the online apple store on june 27 and waited for almost a month before i got the laptop on 24th of july. My configuration was 2.6/16/512 (16GB ram customised to order) and guess how much it cost? A whopping RM9,899 (after student discount), it was really really expensive to me but i had to get the high spec model since the entry level model only offered 256GB of SSD space (at that time). Trust me, 256GB won't get you far if you need your laptop for serious photo and video editing (installing photoshop and final cut pro plus a few other video editing software already took close to 100GB), so it was very smart of you to get the 512GB model. Check if your rMBP has an LG or Samsung screen as LG screens are known to be faulty (serious retentivity issues) and if it was indeed faulty i recommend you to ask for a replacement immediately (if you are still in your 14 day 'returns no-questions asked' period). Good luck!

Apple support forums mentioned that the persistent-image problem is more to LG displays rather than Samsung's. Perhaps there was a batch of LG displays that were defective.
