waiting your feedback on cm9 fxp125 ..

IMHO , CM9 is more smooth and beautiful coz i like the vanilla ICS ..

pros

- smooth ui
- music player ui is awesome (apollo)
- can oc up to 1.6 GHz
- camera picture quality is better than stock ICS about 2.2 MB/picture .. (wonder if they have BE)
- my upload speed increase from 512 kbps to 1 Mbps .. ( strange .. coz my internet upload speed is capped at 512 kbps )

but i just notice few cons in this CM9 ..

- camera (panorama) not work
- hdmi not work
- fm radio not work
- hardware keyboard lighting not work
- battery usage stats not available
- my wifi mac address changes .. (i'm not sure if it's normal ? )
- i can't play games little empire (not try other games yet )

herm, is anyone tried the Ultima 1.1 rom?
is the rom is better than CM9?

how bout u give a try and rport the result here ..

did u clear battery stat in CWM and wipe caches after reflashing cm9?

im thinkinng of change to cm9 too but kinda busy right now. last time i use cm7.2, way better than official gb, not sure cm9 though.

for fm radio, have u try spirit fm radio? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296
regarding the MAC add, i think cm9 allow us to change the MAC add. last time i use cm7.2 can change MAC (actually i dont think it allow us to change the MAC, but to mask the MAC) try check on advanced setting for wifi.

p/s: u play little empire? lol me too. but im noob just level 17.

the good thing is the 3 button lighting is not working anymore ..
so , it don't hurt my eyes when in the dark ..


but , cm9 don't have 12 keypad onscreen ..
so it's to hard for me when come to typing ..
so , need hardware keyboard back ..

Hi All,

I just recently purchased this phone, upgrade to ICS but now my physical keyboard layout is AZERTY (instead of QWERTY). It's quite annoying honestly so I read that I can remap the key but then I need root.

So which method should I use? I was going to try Rexstor method but I thought I might ask first just in case. Or should I just unlock the bootloader and use Kayro method?

My current build number is 4.1.B.0.431

You probably choose the wrong language or wrong rom .
Problem of AP phone from France or Belgium .
Just flash the ftf SG or world generic .

I use the Sony Update software actually, and the phone is an AP set but it does have Malay language setting so I'm assuming it's for Malaysian market?

XPeria Pro owner here, updated my OS to ICS 4.0.4 just the other night. i will post my quick review of performance and functionality soon.

Added on June 20, 2012, 1:49 pmi have updated my OS to ICS 4.0.4 around 36 hours ago, and that was my last charge too. right after the update, i reset the phone to factory settings, and had it rebooted. since then until now i haven't charged my phone (at this point it's an 16%) with just as the same usage as before. this is around 20-30% better consumption compared when i was still using GB 2.3.4.

i'll post more details soon.
