To install ROM, place rom.zip into memory card.
Flash provided kernel. Usually in xda rom thread.
Enter fastboot mode and flash kernel.
after that enter recovery mode and wipe all.
flash rom.
That it.
No need root stock rom. Just flash custom kernel. nod.gif

Use custom kernel. LuPuS is the most stable IMO.
Flash using Flashtool is the fastest. nod.gif

ok. il again rewrite how it can be done from scratch for our PRO..LOL

1. download FlashTool
2. download adb driver (u may download from xda via FlashTool page from doomlord and extract exe to install)
3. download "root/unroot sony ericsson android phone 2011 v1.5 by quangnhut123"
4. connect hp to pc, ignore pc companion, extract quangnhut123 to desktop, select root and wait until hp restart - ROOTED.
5. download "Finally CWM Recovery 5.0.2.7-nAa-r2 for Stock Xperia Neo/Neo v [With Lock Bootloader]", extract to desktop, select cwm1 for PRO, follow instruction.
6. download your preferable firmware in winrar format into the memory card, boot into cwm by pressing down volume button when SE word comes out.
7. wipe data, wipe cache, clear dalvic, install zip from sdcard. settle.

WORKS FOR LOCKED AND UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER PRO.

Sorry for the late reply. sweat.gif
Why don't use the LuPuS kernel only? It already included root and CWM.
Flash the kernel, boot into CWM and install UHD (of course for unlocked bootloader only). nod.gif

not possible. i unlocked it the first time i got it to root it.that time still haven got ways to bypass the lock, alternative way will be using wire-tappings. when connected to flashtool, it says root access allowed. but when flash lupus, it says root is required. rclxub.gif

Okay. This is weird. sweat.gif

Did you use flashmode or fastboot mode in the flashtool?
The led notification will light blue if you enter the fastboot, and in my case I can only use USB 2.0 port to use fastboot.

Well, that quite a process to do. sweat.gif
Why not install a custom kernel (CM9 kernel perhaps), wipe data, system, cache etc, install UHD and flash the stock kernel again. icon_rolleyes.gif

Or maybe using x-Part for CWM?
