got link for custom kernel? coz i read in UHD they mention best with ICS stock kernel.

ur idea is custom kernel is rooted and comes with CWM? then using that kernel we boot into CWM and starting flashing?

ya. i din read that coz it was like repeating methods, but the root bat is different..

im installing cwm via x-parts from google play..fastest way to get cwm after root..should have done it ur way, lagi laju.

i just read UHD's recommendation, mmng he recommend lufus..deng....

ask u..i found out my ringtones cannot be detect in the sound list..how ar? i put them in a 'ringtones' folder in sd.

hard bricked my PRO. tried repairing using SONY PC Companion..in vain. any other ways?

current state: cant even on. can boot into flashmode and fastboot mode. no SONY logo. dead unit.

p/s:i think i made a mess by installing wrong kernel..

i use flashtool to flash lupus kernel, but it mentioned i need to root my device in order to do so. but my device doesnt have any display at that moment...deng..

i unlocked the bootloader on the first day i got my unit. used SUS, at the end of the repair it mentioned the unit will restart...mana ada display..langsung dun have anything..still a bricked unit.

i suspect is the kernel coz it vibrates on startup even without display and the keyboard backlight still functioning.

already used flashtool to flash the oem ICS and GB rom...in vain..still same problem.

got any reputable shop to recommend to repair it in serdang or selangor?

could it be ribbon?

i revived my PRO. now i wanna root it with cwm and install ultimate HD. what is the fastest method? i know root tools. anyone can tell me briefly?

quick brief. kernel lupus flash using flashtool into the phone. then will preinstalled with root and cwm, correct?

ok. il again rewrite how it can be done from scratch for our PRO..LOL

1. download FlashTool
2. download adb driver (u may download from xda via FlashTool page from doomlord and extract exe to install)
3. download "root/unroot sony ericsson android phone 2011 v1.5 by quangnhut123"
4. connect hp to pc, ignore pc companion, extract quangnhut123 to desktop, select root and wait until hp restart - ROOTED.
5. download "Finally CWM Recovery 5.0.2.7-nAa-r2 for Stock Xperia Neo/Neo v [With Lock Bootloader]", extract to desktop, select cwm1 for PRO, follow instruction.
6. download your preferable firmware in winrar format into the memory card, boot into cwm by pressing down volume button when SE word comes out.
7. wipe data, wipe cache, clear dalvic, install zip from sdcard. settle.


WORKS FOR LOCKED AND UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER PRO.
