I am his latest victim...2 days back on Thursday (3rd December) at Setia City Mall, Shah Alam. I was approached by this Indian who called himself Balakrishnan. He speaks good English and Malay and looks like a decent guy. He told me that he lost his wallet (IC, ATM card and cash) and showed me a police report as proof. He said he has lost IC a third time and thus need RM 1050 in order to remake his IC. Only with IC, he could then remake his ATM card to withdraw money. He said he was just being scolded by another guy when he approached him and he said how can Malaysian be so unhelpful to fellow Malaysians in need. He even has cheek to ask me if he looks like a conman. He has tears in his eyes somemore...very good acting can surely get Oscar award.

He said he is from Ipoh and come to Shah Alam for an interview at Cisco on next Monday. He promised to return me the money after he is back in Ipoh.

I asked him if he has any family members or relatives in Selangor and he said he only has an elderly mother and 2 sisters who are still in primary schools.

I really pity him and passed him RM 500 in cash!!!!

He then thank me profusely and promised to return me the cash either by bank transfer or money order. He specifically asked me to take a photo of him just in case. So naive I am!

Fellow Malaysians please do not fall into his same old trick again! Punch him in the face for me if you see him. Thanks!

I googled "balakrishnan ramasamy jalan taman silibin 2" and found this post. I will make a police report and probably report this case to MCA to see if they can make it to newspaper. This guy has been active since 2012! Imagine how many victims he has had?

I met him too at ALAMANDA. I was remembered he was explain to me and convince to me that his unfortunate at KL's for interview.
I didn't trust much his said and he showed his police report to me and asked me to call his friend and send him to a nearest bus station.
He said:" I was trying to ask for help but i don't know why people told me to fuck off and get away con man. Can you help me?"
Then I was like ya right,no doubt you're a con man.
I replied:" No. I've no time for this."
Within a few second he took the report from my hand and left from my eye sign.

dunno if the same guy or not but in 2011 i got apprached by an indian guy with the same sob story with air mata meleleh-leleh asking for help showing his polis report - in setia alam caltex while i was busy pumping petrol.

I fell like that this guy is not a Malaysian, he doesnt have the Malaysian Indian look either.

You are basically saying he is not a Tamil. So he's an Indian from other ethic group in India.

Suggest to pass all these infsos to bukit aman. So far my experience with bukit aman very efficient.
