QUOTE(Long88 @ Jun 16 2012, 09:09 PM) i can't. base on faqs here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709686when in kernel i can choose the file. but when in recovery it shows "partition could not be found in file" You need to extract once using 7zip (only can extract using 7zip) at PC. Only one time. then flash by choosing kernel at Mobile Odin.

Getting Started

using my S3 for few days. i'm kinda miss the 'slide to adjust brightness' on my S2. u know when u slide the top of the screen u can control the brightness. but we dont have that on S3 rite?
one more that i miss is 'text rearrange to fit the screen'. no matter how u zoom it, the text will rearrange to fit the screen, very usefull features.
but i think this 2 features only on Gingerbread rite? really wish they put this on ICS especially the brightness control.
another thing is the volume control position. always ter'tekan the volume button when to push power button. (when unlock or do screen capture.)
other than that, all are GREAT.. the smart stay function is very usefull feature.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jun 16 2012, 09:05 PM) Both can, tar.md5 is got error check, so that mobile odin can check 1st before it flash. Added on June 16, 2012, 9:09 pmHi, benny888, Thanks again for that site, actually what the different with insecure kernel? Insecure kernel often used to and as a base kernel to root phones. Infact if your phone is rooted the kernel is already now a changed insecure kernel

I just check back via quickinfo, all 4 kernel is proper display all time, not like what it happen at siyah. Siyah is given me in really high score in benchmark but not the stock. But the most important is smoothness. The UI is lagging is gone in stock. I am sticking to stock now. I using Kernel_I9300XXALEF.7z as it is same build as my phone build number. http://androidfirmwares.net/PhoneKernel3/Download/12This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jun 16 2012, 09:26 PM
