it all depends on how the pic is exposed on the dslr...this is iso3200 on a dslr.

just for fun, here's a 100% crop of the badge.
if its on a 808, provided it can even shoot at iso3200, there wont be any detail at all...
cos even 808 at iso1600 the detail is lost already due to the sensor size.

so its not all about megapixels...its part of it...but not all of it.
Just 1 point which has been posted before : no point if the DSLR cannot or not allowed to be brought in. However canggih, no point, security will stop, no DSLR or worse no point and shoot. No official media pass, tak boleh. It's becoming more & more strict. Either the camera stays out or the person stay out or camera kena consficate. 808,... is phone

For this Olympics, for spectator photos, I think I have to put up with blur images from smartphones.
Edit : sorry, DSLR is allowed but no flash. No long telephoto lens too( Spore also have this rule). So far, most of the audience follow this rule. During the test event in March, camera was not allowed. Later stages of the competition dunno if they will make it more strict, now only group stage
If in Msia, sure will have many dont follow no flash rule, until participants complain. Security have to stand there keep telling people dont use flash. If got a few thousand spectator, hard to control.
