A problem towards ASUS's after sales service. Is it really that bad? There got no positive comments about there good service, all is bad. Condemning how Asus sucks. This and that. If these are all true, I will cancel my order and change my mind. sigh. Too bad

it's like what others said, you either lucky to get a perfect one or "lucky" one to get faulty one

Hi bro, thanks for replied me wink.gif. I still confusing to choose one of them. Is Asus speaker get buzz sounds? Or any more other laptop, instead of y580 and this? wink.gif thanks.
*
Not every Asus products gets buzzy sound,
Before this I used Asus K40AE, which uses Altec Lansing speaker with SRS surrounds and it is still perfect.
Just that Asus N56 with Bang&Olufsen it is very very awesome compared with Altec Lansing, out of the uncommon-chance-buzzing sound

My friend bought Y480 with JBL speaker, for him it's very very nice too.

(But frankly saying if you want significant difference between this two is the screen, Y580 is gloss LED screen while N56 is matte screen)

They allow to check it infront of them? Sorry I'm it noob== mind to tell how to switch on screen and what's dead pixel xD
*
ya why not? They ready the pc for you and you must double check everything.
Check the USBs and wifi as well, as they are the most important one to me.
Switch on switch off screen I think it's the hotkey on function key, press Fn+ a logo look like a screen with a big X,
press to toggle on and off.(? LOL)
dead pixel testing you may refer to this website http://jasonfarrell.com/misc/deadpixeltest.php
(hopefully internet available before checking anything? haha)
but most important one double check the subwoofer! and maybe you bring along some songs to check for buzzing sound hmm.gif

for extra download CPU-Z and HWMonitor or just SIW to check the specs of the laptop,
see if the seller changed your hardware or not smile.gif

It's not that sync problem, just it happened at that very moment.

Keep getting BSOD -.-
Added free 4GB ram on purchase btw.
*
what is your frequency of your new added RAM?
There are several issues regarding added RAM causing bsod and auto-restart problem here, do check them out smile.gif

HonestlyBuyer, google will save all data of your google chrome, so cookies, bookmarks, theme, settings all can sync from other computer biggrin.gif

Not doing so tongue.gif, uninstalled some asus bloatwares and those games.
My boot-up is quite fast, but after it get into windows it started lagging for awhile loading all the start up items which really annoys me :/
*
what is your startup time?
mine was 62k ms best result, worst can up to 142k ms.
bloatwares are all removed, but still minimum 62k only if I do some cleaning and disk defragment before last shutdown,
lenovo i7 can be less than 40k, very fast shocking.gif
And so far no game installed yet, biggest program I've installed so far is microsoft office only hmm.gif

wah cool  rclxms.gif  at last .. but when i see the other picture... its a 14inch laptop skin  sweat.gif our n56 got numpad, that skin doesnt have any
i5 also comes with subwoofer .... the price should be around rm2670 with 8gb ram upgrade. Any shop will do, just get around that price or buy it from garage sales (COD is recommended)  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
If you check out the tradelist there many people actually noted that they bought N56 version so I think they just didn't show up the picture hmm.gif
or you can search for more by using the same chinese name for keyboard protector, many of them is so cheap tongue.gif

LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem

I watch it on youtube. At the beginning already can notice the burst when that white shirt guy talking.

Hope you don't have the same issue like me :\
*
oh wow, I thought speaker buzzes is common issue in N56 but..
I turn 70% in windows and max in Youtube for the Party Rock Anthem... it's good though,
no buzzing sound.

What to test beside speaker?
WhT music should i play to test?

Your n56 is 750gb i5 or i7 1tb ??
*
I have a friend who recently bought an i5 N56,
that laptop has some static when it is plugged in with adapter,
so i think better you check whether the laptop have some electromagnetic thingy or not -__-
and check for dead pixels, keyboards, USBs, I can say everything you think it's possible,
even better try to shut down the laptop completely and have a boot,
because mine experienced twice that when I boot the system it doesn't display anything,
have to press the power button for long time then it restarts and everything goes normally..
the first time is the second day morning after I bought so.. haha, hopefully it's not fatal.

For speaker maybe you can try as many songs as possible as not many songs giving buzzing sounds,
maybe Party Rock Anthem like what few posts above mentioned?

I got my keyboard protector!
Cool because it's so fit with the keyboard,
just still feels the same for the typing smoothness,
it's better than having a piece of 5 bucks silicon but still cannot be the same as naked keyboard.
I'll buying transparent cover skin and a laptop sleeve though, feel so unsafe bringing it out just like that.

you know how to apply it? I'm not so dare as last time I hancur one for my previous laptop sad.gif just use carbon fiber but this time I prefer transparent or matte one for the aluminium feel biggrin.gif

will you bulk for laptop sleeve as well? I plan to buy the horizontal sleeve as well, just feels hurt to let it naked and put inside my bag sad.gif
