Maxis VOIP phone not working tried on 2 routers.

Need help, sorry for disturb. But trying searching also unable to solve. Even bought 2 Router to try (Tp-Link AC3200 and Asus N300 RT-N14UHP)

I have been trying the way from Maxis Custom Router setting  by connecting LAN 4 (AC3200) to Thomsen WAN, but THOMSEN still not able to link to Telephone.
And try Asus from the Asus Router to Maxis Home Fiber by connecting LAN 3 (N14UHP) to WAN of Thomsen. Still no luck.

Hope any of you can help me. or I can open Team Viewer to check my setting

I did try the way posted by Peacelover1992 Post #01,  but I'm unable to connect to Huawei EchoLife HG850a setting page to do the setting.

All above, tested on above 2 routers, I'm able to connect to Internet, just the VOIP phone no connection.

Dear All Sifu.

I just install Maxis Business Fibre.

I was given ONU-HUAWEI-HG8240w model and Maxis Router.

I would like use my own Router which is TP-Link WR1043ND but i don't have access to ONU-HUAWEI-HG8240w.

Can any sifu guide me on that ? Even i have change my IP address to 192.168.100.101 can connect to Modem Port 4 also cannot connect to the Modem.
I don't have the TM Modem login in credential too. Can someone lead me ?

Just got the maxis fibre line at my home, currently using the standard technicolor router provided by maxis. The signal quite bad on my 1st floor of my terrace house. I went through some of the post here, any other recommendation on the router replacement or just get a AP? TP-Link? Asus? to increase signal and bandwidth especially on the 1st floor.

My Current Setup:
Service Provider: Maxis Home Fibre Internet
Modem: ONU-HUAWEI-HG8240w
Router: Synology Router RT1900ac (with Maxis VoIP setting enabled See Here!)
Phone: Normal Landline Phone

Can I use a RJ11 to RJ45 cable to connect the router and the normal landline phone? Will it work?

Then what should I do to make my landline phone work again? Need advise from sifu.

Yep good luck bro. You can use two specific D-Link router which support VoIP but just see how it goes first. Good luck.

How's the performance and stability of this router so far? My existing Technicolor router is going crazy especially the wifi.. I don't want to retain the old unit just for the VOIP so I guess this model is the only choice I have..

Me too am facing the exact problem - Internet working but not VOIP, spoke to Maxis Technician, gave me the password but he told me must use their router.

Since you managed to get it to work, would you mind share how you get it done?

All, I just received the call from distributor technical support. He said maxis has changed some VoIP settings internally resulted the dlink DSL-g2542 VoIP working. Dlink is working for the new firmware release but no timeline was given. Looks like we have to suffer on the maxis router for little longer.
I will keep y'all posted here when I received update from them.

Is the first page setting+config still work? last update is 2015. I plan to buy a new custom router and leave the VOIP on the original maxis router.

Maxis call me and give solution. They told me the easy solution is both router work together:-

1) Maxis router use as main router, Custom router us as AP.
2) Maxis router connect to modem by WAN and use for VOIP.
3) Custom router connect LAN 1 to Maxis LAN 1 (or any LAN port) as AP mode.

Must use CAT 6 cable to connect Maxis Router to Custom Router?

Because I try other cable, but the wifi speed less than 100?
