MR_alien, hi how’s the traffic in da nang? Recommend to ride motor or tour better ? Ba Na hill do you have enough time to explore by bus schedule 9am to 3pm? Hoi An half day enough ? 4pm to 8pm ? Sorry too much question.

traffic in danang is ok compared to say HCM
but not recommended to ride motor
most tourist there ride bicycle only(at the island side), in the city side everything is walking distance
from the city side to airport...u can literally walk..can see from google maps

the ba na hills, the best and cheapest way is to get the one at klook
bus + entrance ticket + lunch...it's the cheapest already because if u use private car, its so expensive and it's only 1 way
if u get the bus+entrance ticket+lunch bundle, the bus only cost like RM30...the entrance ticket and lunch is full price
the only downside is there is a limited time...you're only there until 3.30PM-4PM before heading back

hoi an not recommended half day, the time it take for u to reach there already take some of your time
and hoi an only comes alive at night(lantern city)
4-8PM?(after 8PM i don't think any car is gonna drive u back)

Bana hill i ask a grab driver a day before whether he interested to send me to Bana hill early morning 7am and back at time i decided (around 5pm the grab driver waited me downhill). Cost around 650k dong. We 4 persons shared.

depends on which tailor im going for. some tailor requires 2-3 fittings (higher end ones) according to youtube reviews. fastest 24 hours i guess and that doesn't include collection lagi. so i might have to ask them to courier it to my danang's airbnb location.

My current itinerary is like this :

4D3N (Hoi An & Danang + Ba Na Hill Golden Bridge)

Day 1
- Reach DAD at 3.15pm, ding dong ding dong reach Hoi An i think also 5pm already.
- Check in airbnb then straight go suit-shopping and spend the night around the night market.

Day 2
- Cycle around the area (An Bang Beach + Ancient Town)
- Makan makan according to your recommendations in your previous posts while go for hopefully just once or twice fittings for my suit.
- Will pre-book one private transfer from Hoi An back to Danang that night once my suits are done or ready to be shipped.

Day 3 (Saturday)
- Whole day Ba Na Hill reach Danang i think also dinner time
- Watch fire-breathing Dragon bridge
- What else to do here ?

Day 4
- Breakfast then depart to DAD (flight at 12.20pm)
- Anything i can squeeze here as well ?

day 1, i think your problem is reaching danang too late, reach hoi an already night time
when u go do your suit, u can ask them how long it will take for it to complete
they will usually ask when are u leaving and do the arrangement from there
and which tailor are u planning to go actually?
it's always better to have an aim and not walking randomly asking price 1st

when i was going to custom made my shoe, i did my research and i decide i was going to only go 09 shoe shop and make it since it's recommended anyway, price also suit my budget
if u don't have any specific shop yet, i suggest the shop next to 09 shoe shop...same boss...i see tons of tourist make their suit/shirt/pants there...big shop

did u found an airbnb in hoi an that is cheaper than hotel?
because based on my multiple stay in vietnam, i always choose hotel because it's dirt cheap

day 3 go to the banh mi stall i mentioned and if you're keen to buy stuff, walk to big C

Until 330 to 4pm in Ba Na hills will it be enough ? Or need spend more time in hill and take grab back instead? I have already bought ticket only and booked hotel in da nang.
Hoi An maybe can go by bus which cost 25k and back by grab at later time?

as i'm cheap, i will always went for the bundle(bus)
but i found out it's enough time..we stopped at the mid station for 1 hour(where the golden bridge is(the hand))
thn we went up(i went up myself 1st), they went lunch 1st
my style, i go 1 round 1st....after finish 1 round, it's around 12.30-1PM...i went for lunch(less ppl since they left)
thn after lunch, we went for another round and finish it off with beer at the beer plaza(free with voucher)

when up there, i suggest u go for the proper restaurant that serve buffet(a few shop there) not eat their street food(it's f'kin expensive)
or just buy the entrance tix+lunch bundle...the buffet is like RM10

so yes, it's enough time

for the hoi an one...u have no choice but to use private car or taxi to go back danang because most ppl will head hue from hoi an

How bout bana hills? Is it worth staying up there?

Will be there for 8 days 7 nights.

Atm thinking of hoi an and hue as i will be renting a bike thus trip to da nang only day trips.

U apply international license? Do they have 50cc bike ?

stay in bana hill worth or not depends on u, it's basically another version of genting highland but no casino and alot less crowd because of it
riding bike in vietnam is not the same as riding in malaysia, bike there outnumber car
if u can ride in taiwan thn u can ride in vietnam
but i definitely recommend riding a bike for the hai van pass

So far SEA countries ride bike they just ask passport for 'deposit' .. no need license. All tourist ride je.
No 50cc bike so small la.. in fact from reviews, to certain area even scooters are not recommended as not enuf power to go up to peak.. kapcais r ok.. play around wit one ba.. its semi auto .. only clutch is worrying for new riders.



Traffic wise these areas are ok... only bangkok n hcmc then i dont bother riding haha. Unless desperate.. And i do ride in kl traffic.. yet those cities is whole different level 🤣

Hard to say it its crowded. As common as it is weekend will be more crowd.

no such time is not crowded, there will always be tourist bus arriving, just go as early as u can so u can enjoy it to the fullest

taking grab/private car there is a waste of money, it's abt 1 hour away from danang

Last year we book grab driver fetch us (4ppl) at hotel at 7am. Reach there 8plus . He then show us where to buy ticket of Bana Hill. We play till dunno time and the grab driver keep ask us what time we coming down. 5pm we down from hill. We booked the grab driver go and back 650k dong. But we give him 700k coz at 4pm he oredi reach downhill when we keep tell him we will let him know what down we coming down.

Try go early as possible as many things to see and play in the arcade video games.
