Hi guys,
Anyone purchase the FHD Y580 yet?
I was thinking of getting the Asus G55 but am now leaning more towards the Y580 as there are lot of complaints about Asus Service Center.
My questions about Y580.
1. Is the RAM 1600MHz type? What is the max that can be installed?
2. Where to buy in Penang?

Thanks
hattourie

Meaning to say that Lenovo Y580 officially launched in Malaysia? Or maybe just a pre-launch?

Are you familiar with installing a fresh copy of OS? If yes then just unscrew the back part and find the HDD.(it should be in the middle ) take it off and replace it with your SSD,Close the casing, turn it on and install your OS and wahlaa!
Reminder:The SATA port in this notebook is facing upwards, use the adapter provided in the stock HDD,tricky bit! biggrin.gif
