yup...my car gluk sound can hear even outside...
same,car will jerking when quickly remove throttle in 1st n 2nd gear,but i didt hear any loud sound wor,will try monitoring tomoro

according to the proton provide maintenance list... no first 5k service...

can i know which chasis number are good and have less problem

somehow my Saga also have this issue...

But mine, I couldn't hear it from the outside and the sound only comes out when the radiator fan spins. Once the radiator fan stops, the sound stops.

what i found is 5k km service le... that list is provide by proton itself... i dunno which 1 only correct... haha...

hmmm...i manage to clock 551km with one full tank. remaining 55km petrol blinking cause got go outstation trip to malacca. average i now getting at 29km. 10l/100km. usually i will travel 100~110. sometimes step bit more for overtake. just few seconds usually overtake one car. normally town or normal highway i will be travelling around 80~90kmph. i just put in full tank bhp petrol. after pour in my full tank shows 777...if i can get even 700 i am happy.

My first topspeed achieve also 200kmph... "d mode"at mex...i can say i cannot..i dont dare to go further. just last a few second...maybe around 4 or 5 sec in that topspeed.. is too fast for me. the meter shows that fast the car still stable infront got no car...just enough for me to lift my pedal and slowly getting nearer to infront cars without hitting brake.

about the gluk gluk sound i dunno i have or not..or maybe too minimal until i cannot hear it...can someone record it let us know how the sound like share it in here. i think i tried several time..close radio close aircond. only driving no gluk gluk sound. from 0 to 20kmph. or from 60 ~ 80kmph fast also 90 ~ 110 also dont have this sound only sound now visible is...the spring absorber sound after park car when you want go out from the car can hear the sound already.

* p.s..go to the back of your bumper...have a quick peek down below...near the ekzos....if you notice there is two metal steel that holds the ekzos...can you see anything rust there....i think mine is badly rust already.

Added on June 22, 2012, 12:46 ammine is 1070. one of the few early batch one. luckily i still dont have that owv problem. start car easy. few minor things like gear lever cap tercabut, air cond some sound and dashboard some sound. after all being rectify. the only thing left is my disc plate got one very deep line. on the front left side. other than that...not yet discover or not yet come out. maybe sooner or later will slowly come out. the thing is 73k is very expensive for me. but i already give myself expectations not too high but at least i know i am buying malaysian made car. proton. this is my first proton car. so even got problem i already ready for it. i just hope that it wont fail tengah jalan then ok already. if our QC is better if our material is better i am sure most of us will support malaysia made cars.

see japan people how they support thier own brand, toyota honda mazda nissan. hardly you can see them buy other country car. but cannot compare la they get their best quality there but send out other country sell lower quality. here in malaysia terbalik. best one other country..not that good qc one for us malaysia.

Is the sound you mentioned here something like squeezing noise? I know sometimes handbrake could make this noise, like not tightly "bite" to the rotor, so when you get down from your car, it slightly move and make this noise. You can try pull the handbrake a little harder next time and see if it still happen.

ya will try tomorrow see if it comes out any sound..but i am sure is a spring sound. i not sure that bonnet extra spring..can bring any harm or any more orchestra sound... but it is very convenient. no need use hand to push... hope it will not open fast and hard...will there be like slow motion open?

The strength of the spring is adjustable, so no hard bumping when opening.
