Omg...recently i found my car got the one way valve problem..Sometimes on cold start..got the steel sound clek clek for 2-3sec ..damn..any solution for this?Send to SC they sure can settle?
any1 know proton sc will open on saturday or not?

the solution is to raplce your OWV, they need to open your cylinder head, took 3 days at least to replace it.


Look like most of the Preve owner have this Gluk Gluk sound, regardless manual or auto, off aircond, free gear ->N, did't apply a brake, still got sound. Anyone have a solution for this please let us know, if i remember correctly it caused by ABS drag, but need confirmation. CoSE promise me for an appointment with the vendor last friday, so far no news

I'm sorry but could you please explain one last time to me how and in which circumstance, you heard this infamous Gluk Gluk sound?

turn off radio& aircond to hear the sound clearly, slow moving around 10-20KMH, for my car can hear from front engine- passenger side

this gluk gluk sound happen to me when start car and move slowing form idling...reach 10-20km/h+ dont have already,even u stop and go again also dont have...
sometime start car n move got sometime dont have
outside ppl also will hear it loudy

under rare cases your engine oil will be leaking and high fuel consumption, i think you should get confirmation with Proton because no one here know what are the function of OWV, so we cannot theorize the long term/shor term effect, based on kiapreve problem the symptom instead of clak clak sound is oil leaking and high FC.

Oo..Ic..but I still dont have the oil leaking issue..i am not having the sound every cold start..sometimes only..

this not always happen to my car..maybe 2-3times out of 10 times start moving will have..
when its happen,i always quickly goes over 20km/h...i dont wanna ppl outside/passager hear that sound

I don't hear gluk gluk sound but was instead heard something like loosening steel hitting each others when I reduce speed (foot remove from throttle pedal quickly). The car will then jerking just like driving a manual car, when you suddenly release the throttle in 1st or 2nd gear, I thought this jerking is normal, but I don't know where the sound came from. Maybe the gearbox "knocking" inside? I don't know.
