hi D800/D800E users... i have a question

can i install a FX lens on the D800 then manually set the camera to DX mode so i get the FOV of a crop sensor (105mm -> 157.5mm)?

the DX mode will produce 15mp pictures rite?

D3200 la as a start or D5100 if got more budget (but they are more or less about same price dy).
Else, D7k for sure .. hehe. D3200 i think about RM2200-2250 with kit.

i have a bit of a problem when focusing with my 2 lenses, i think need fine tune AF lah.
this picture took a few tries cos i wanted the focus on her eyes, this still not exactly on her eyes..

Hey.. after reading all the reviews from the internet, i have finally make up my mind to go with Nikon D5100.
Can anyone please tell me that im making the right decision so that i could purchase it tomorrow with no regret 
Btw.. there's this FOTO EDAR shop where located at BB Plaza offering me RM1900 with kits lens.
Is this shop recommended? because this is the cheapest price i can get so far and im afraid that it was AP nor Ori

Last question, HOW AND WHAT is the MUST DO thing when purchasing a DSLR?

WHY D3200 and WHY D90?

Just go with d5100, the d3200 more megapixel not really important since u arent print large image, the 5100 flip screen is way better than the d90 and d3200

Only go for d90 if u have the budget.

Go with the one u like, all dslr can capture beauty image, depend on u wan to learn or not only. Go shop hold both, feel it urself which suit u , buy it and keep on shooting =D

Dear sifu, i shoot more on Portrait and Street candid.     Nikon d5100 + 85mm f/1.8g + 40mm f/2.8     issit a nice combo ???   Nikon 40mm will be my all around lens and a waist up portrait and 85mm will be exclusively portrait.      OR     should i get nikon 50mm f/1.8G + 18-105mm ??   would i regret of losing the 18mm if i get the 40mm + 85mm combo ??  Please advise sifus !! thanks !! kam xia !!!
