I tried 300mm f/4... old lens, focusing is darn slow...
I set my D700 to focus priority on AF-C mode... my camera like bursting at 2fps due to the lens not able to keep up with my 8fps.. LOL! 70-200 VR2 keeps up easily, even with TC-20E III also no issue! |

Actually if you send to Nikon BTS, they will eventually transfer it to PJ anyways. Nikon BTS guys cannot handle all sort of issues... their specialist are based at Nikon PJ.
