me using d7000 and want to buy a fisheye lens, so the lens is the 10.5mm ones, but i was wondering if i take the 16mm fisheye fx lens, will i get the same 180' angle of view?
*
Nope, buy the DX fish eye if you want it as a fish eye lens. FX fish eye is only a fish eye on FX.

Isit? a particular dealer said so.. bt then another dealer said can..
n this image Tamron 17-50 non vc nikon mount has the box that says built in motor?
*
In total there is 3 version,

no motor, no VC (v1) --> Cannot AF on D5100
motor, no VC (v2) --> Can AF on D5100
motor, VC (v3) --> Can AF on D5100

But then again, the AF sucks big time so be prepare for AF hunt frenzy~!

Eh, pop-up flash oso can cover leh..set exposure compesate -5..
Look--> Photo 1
*
Different, you see the sky is totally blown out? I no need flash also can achieve same thing la!

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Jul 5 2012, 10:41 AM)

No flash oso can do ar? hehe..i dno eh.. sweat.gif  how? bt then that time the sky memang nothin wor..use external flash will help recover details of the sky?

how's the one with vc?
*
Photo doesn't look like there's a flash at all. LOL can't even see any catch light in the eyes. In that case, have flash or no flash will yield same results. The pop up flash probably can't reach the subjects lor.

QUOTE(ongdennis @ Jul 5 2012, 01:17 PM)
thanks god u not saying the v3...
hahaha...
*
More accurate and consistent but slower compared to V1 and faster than V2. But still, no good compared to Nikkor glasses tongue.gif I used it before and got annoyed ._. Its like using 5D2 with 85mm f/1.2L under low light LOL

Hey eugene!
The seller is obviously lying..

1st of all

APO stands for

APO (Apochromatic )
In order to attain the highest quality images, the APO lens has been made using special low-dispersion (SLD) glass and is designed to minimize color aberration.

and for Sigma's version of Nikon's VR is "OS"

OS (Optical Stabilizer Function)
This function utilizes a built-in mechanism that compensates for camera shake. It dramatically expands photographic possibilities by alleviating camera movement when shooting by hand held camera.

http://www.sigmaphoto.com/sigma-lens-technology

This is according to Sigma... Have you changed the lens yet?
*
I think APO is similar to Nikon's UD element? Or maybe the Nano coat.

*
Ehh wait.. or is Nikon's called ED... hahaha... I think UD is Canon instead.
