Nope? As long got NFC = Android Beam.
Enable it under Wireless & networks make sure NFC is ticked and Android Beam is ON

My friends only have Iphone 4...S2....S3...Note...Tab....none of them got Android Beam....Zzzz...

Cause they don't have NFC chip :3

You need ICS + NFC for Android Beam to work.

iPhone 4, S2, Note, Tab, all don't have NFC.

S3's S Beam only works with device with S Beam.

But it's very smooth thou.

can anyone recommend me a good micro USB to HDMI adapter to buy?

Mine works (gnex and s3). However its Android Beam only as ICS intended I.e. transfer of web links, map location, YouTube link etc.

S3's S Beam doesn't work with Gnex as it is proprietary. Means Samsung made their own app to utilize Wi-Fi direct. So it means you can't transfer huge files between these 2.

download the USB driver and firmware files to Windows (may take multiple tries, keep trying).
run USB driver app in Windows
run firmware app in Windows
put phone in download mode (power off, volume down + power on, plug USB cable in)
in firmware app, click start!

and you're done!
You're now yakju with latest Google ITL41F.

Can anyone brief me about the above steps? I'm planning to update my current 4.0.2 to yakju 4.0.4, but according to the above instruction, i don't know where to download the USB driver app and Firmware App, hope you guys can guide me on that. thanks

i used to run on stock 4.0.4.......flashed it to "yakju" build is the only way for now to get 4.0.4

LYN garage sales a lot, search MHL. GNote, S2, all compatible.

gnex also have WiFi-Direct function. tmr gonna see any S2 friends to try it.

a few apps to share that I found interesting from AP

Castle File Manager. its a file manager that allows you to browse stream content using FTP. I haven't try it though, just find the idea interesting the app is still in alpha stage, so it will become better later

Disk Digger for recovering deleted photo/images! I'm sure someone will need this

InFoto for plotting your images into infographics by analyzing them. just a fun app to have.

Anyone faces foursquare issue?
After getting into cm9 nightly, can't use foursquare.

beside clear cache, you can try delete any fq folder or files in sdcard. latest version here, and working fine.
