Just done my 1K service; just cost RM168 coz got 20% discount on shell fully synthetic 5W 40 engine oil + FOC washer, oil filter, car wash, windscreen cleaner and alignment. Overall the staffs there are quite professional and they inspect the car quite details; added some brake oil for me as well - FOC.

Does all the SC also give FOC windscreen cleaner?

Did the SC take out ur absorber and take photo in order for them to claim for the alignment? They did it on mine as they said they want to claim for it. Hopefully they dont use my car to claim a brand new absorber.

by the way, this morning tried 160km/h and the RPM is about 5K. Is this standard? what is the top speed we can go with forte 1.6sx before hit the red line of the RPM?

can i know the rpm should be how much when the car is stopped?
No matter i switch the gear to N or D. i feel that the car has a bit vibration when the car is stopped.
Should i get back to SC to solve this? or its just a normal?

mine 1 is about 600 or 700 RPM. and no vibrate.

the manual say keep the RPM at 2-4K during break in period so after 10K then I will try it again.

mine so far 110... still very sayang the car... dare not tekan... gonna put in my K&N filter next... since already first service...
maybe after u put K&N ur car will have more top speed? i dont know...hehe

I dont think I will put this reusable filter coz last time got it for my myvi and the engine throttle need to be clean quite often or else the car seems hard to start during hot afternoon.

anyone know where got sell the original filter for forte; only found air cond filter in this forum? BTW SC doesnt allow us bring own engine oil, do they allow us to bring own spark plug, engine filter, air cond filter?

jgn too sayang the car, nanti u couldn't get below speed for 1.6...

i asked SC b4 and they dont allow to bring own eng oil, spark plugs etc
if u installed those 'reusable' stuff like k&n or iridium spark plugs, just let them know so tat they wont change it n throw away ur k&n or iridium spark plug
anyway, i was told that u can ask them not to change the part and u change it after the service by urself

maybe I will call the SC and ask whether can bring own spark plug and ask them to change; maybe just give them labor fee. If cant then go to other SC that can

for the engine and aircond filters, i can change it myself so shouldn't be an issue.
